"I'm fine, go away."

"I'm okay, now shut up."

"I'm alright, leave me alone."

Jotaro had been saying those words ever since the battle with Dio. Jotaro had lost most of his friends in that battle but the loss that had affected him the most was the death of his friend Kakyoin.

Jotaro had liked Kakyoin since the beginning of the journey but he had never excpected that liking to grow into a crush. Little did Jotaro know, Kakyoin felt the same way. They had both decided to tell eachother their feelings after Dio was dead but because of unforseen circumstances this wasn't possible.

The sight of Kakyoin's body was too much for Jotaro to bear, he looked so cold. He looked so lonely. Jotaro felt tears welling up in his eyes but he wouldn't cry, not infront of Joseph.

Joseph knew that Jotaro was having a difficult time with Kakyoin's death but he had no idea how bad it actually was. Joseph was genuinely worried for his grandson, he noticed that Jotaro was skipping meals, he noticed the bags under Jotaro's eyes. He noticed the burn scars that traced Jotaro's arms.

Kakyoin's death had practically ruined Jotaro, he felt like he would break down at any second. Even Star Platinum seemed down when he was summoned.

In reality, Jotaro knew that he wasn't actually okay but he felt like he couldn't show anyone how he was feeling. Part of him was actually scared to tell the others.

Did he think that they would leave him?

Did he think that they laugh about it and call him weak?

He didn't know. He didn't want to know.

Jotaro had spent hours sitting in his room alone with Star trying to comfort him, atleast get him to eat something but it wasn't going to happen. The thought of eating made Jotaro sick. He didn't want to eat without Kakyoin.

He felt lost, like there was nobody to pull him out of his pit of dispair. Eventually even Star Platinum reminded him of his "uselessness" so much that he stopped summoning his stand completely.

At some point Jotaro decided to stay away from all stand related activity. This was mainly to help him keep his composure, but he also felt as if he wouldn't be able to participate in a stand fight if it came to that point.

What Jotaro didn't know, was that he was about to be thrown back into the world of stands once again.

I'm sorry that this chapter is so short! I will definitely continue writing this and I will try to make longer chapters. This may or may not make you cry. I'm not sure if it will, but I kinda hope it does.
