Chapter 1

My new chapter book and i been really busy with stuff and I  wish I was posting more but Enjoy the story.

I was in my office doing some work at home and as my duaghter came in and said" Mommy when can I meet my daddy". When she said that my heart has broke into a million places cuase she has never met her father or even see what he looks like and I said" would like to see a picture of him." As she came running onto my lap as I opened mr darw and got the picture out of me and him as she saw it her eyes start to feel up with tears and it hurs me to see her like that and knowing that she does not know her own dad it killed me.She said" Do I look like him"?and I said" you look alot like him". I said with sad tone in my voice and she asked me" When can I see him or can you please call him" and I told her " I don't know if he has the same phone number or the same phone its been 5 years I haven't talked to him". She looked very sad and I said" I will try to call him okay?" She smiled and ran off to her room.After she left i just sat there and look down at the picture of me and joseph and alittle treat came down to my face and I was thinking about my past with Joseph,  me and joseph had a good relationship we were happy till one day i told him I was pregnant we would spent all night talking about girl names and boys name so after I told and the next morning when I woke up he wasn't there he left early and he came home really late and when he came home he would always have an attitude he would yell at me when I ask questions and I was thinking to myself that he never yelled at me so one day I packed my stuff and me and my baby left he never made contact,never called pr came by to see her i was so pissed at him.

August13,2019
Today was matys birthday she is turning 6 years old and maty came into my room and jumped on me and
Said" Mommy mommy wake up?" She said as jumped on me and said" I'm up now baby" I said in a sleep voice and then she asked me" Mommy did u call him yet?" I  told her " No not yet but I promise I will." Ans she looked down,and as much it kills me to call i manes well call him just for her and I really don't Ike seeing her sad I like to see a big smile on her beautiful face.

As we were laying down on the bed staring at my big window and watching the sunrise come up and we stayed there for 5 minutes.And after those 5 minutes were up we both got and i got dressed. I got my pick shirt with flowers on it and I got my black skirt and put it on and I got my flats and they were black and little miss maty had black shirt on and pink pants and black flats just like her mommy,it so cute when she tried to be like me.

We grabbed our belongings and we left to McDonald's and I got her Mini muffin with orange juice and I got myself the same thing with a coffee.

So I took maty to my Moms and I went to work so the job I work for is that I write about artists and see what they are about and so when I arrived at work I saw a file and the name was.........SoMo so I research and it was joseph he has been doing so good over the last couple years and I'm proud of him so i grabbed my phone out my back pocket and called him.
Ringing joseph:
SoMo: hello...... iris
As he took a deep breath to say my name.
Iris: nevermind this was a mistake.

Somo: wait don't hang up.
Iris: what do want? I was supposed to call u yesterday and I didn't i have to go.
I said as i hung up and got up off my chair and headed out and started to drive to my moms to go pick up maty as I parcked my car my phone rings again and it was joseph and I picked it up.
Iris: what joseph.
I cant stand hereing his voice
SoMo: where are u?
Iris: Why do u wanna know.
SoMo: Just tell me where u are please and I will tell u why please?
He said it in a way I never heard him say and it sounded like he was sad
Iris: I'm at my moms.
SoMo: okay, I'm on my way.
Iris: wait not my moms.
SoMo:Why not.
Iris: cuase of maty, and if maty sees u she's going to cry and I don't want her to cry.
SoMo: fine meet at the park
Iris:  see u soon

After I hung up the the phone I texted my mom and told that I am meeting someone today and I told I will be back soon to pick up maty.

At the park.

I was stading by a tree and as I looked around to see if joseph was and then a I locked my eyes on to him, he was so damn perfect and he has gotten stronger.

Joseph: hey, iris its been awhile since I seen u?
He said as he walked up to me.
Iris: joseph you look good, why did you want to meet me here?
Joseph:........... i wanted to see..... how... how you were doing.
He said it like he was nervous, Wow, I never seen someone so nervous before like Joseph.
Iris: Why? That is not ur reason why are u really here?
I said in a angry way.
Joseph: okay I wanted see our duaghter in person I wanted to see how big she has gotten over the last  years.
I was shocked that he said that.???!!!
Iris: What?you want to see maty and its been five years and you were never there for her and now you want to come see our or my baby girl that I raised on my own, what made u come back?
Joseph: you, I just kept on thinking about u and how we were so deep in love with eachoter i just need u and I miss u.
Iris; u...u miss me, I thought u moved on with life.
Joseph: No I didn't not without the woman that I love.
Iris: you love me still?

I was so surprised by what he said an what us going to happened when I tell maty about her dad wanting to  come home to me and her.

Joseph; yeah  I love u.

Iris; okay, do you want to go see maty and today she is turning 6.

Joseph: i would love to see my little girl.
He said it in a happy way.

So he followed me to my moms and when I was driving to my moms a started to think about what would happen with maty an me what if he leaves again and he screw up all over again and i dont want that to happend again.

So we pulled up I got out the car and walked up to his car and said:
Iris:wait here.
Joseph: okay

As I asked and knocked on the door and my mom answered

IRIS: HEY MOM WHERE IS MATY
mom: in the back yard, who was the person you were talking to.
Iris: oh its was a friend I will see later ok
Mom; ok bye sweetie and bye maty
Maty; bye grandma

As I walked out  i got down on my knees in front of Joseph car as looked over to his direction he was so happy to see her.

Iris: baby, honey, sweetie ur dad and I talked about him seeing u toady. Is that ok with u?

Maty: YES WHERE IS HE.
As she was jumping up and down.

Iris: ok u see the car behind me.

Maty: yeah, is that DADDY?????

iris: uuuuh... yes it is and he in there wating for u.

Maty: yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay DADDY DADDY
she as she was running to the driver section

Joseph: hey baby

He said with a sad face and a smile on his face and they were both happy to see eachother
Joseph: how are u doing  baby girl?
Maty: im good daddy, how about u?
Joseph: im great.
Maty: mommy can daddy stay with us for one night please.

She said jumping up and down
Iris: im OK with that it is up to ur father.
Joseph: I would like to.
MATY: YEAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
