Two Faced Heart

Confess Cam!

Cameron's POV

My hands wouldn't stop shaking my heart pounding louder and louder. I just wanted to end it so I just said it and got it over with.
"Mom, Dad... I'm gay!" I said almost shouting

My eyes were shut because I was afraid of what they would say or do, but nothing was happening. I opened my eyes just to see my mom approaching me with open arms.

"Cam. We love you and alway will. Don't think that this will change anything between us, alright?" She said with cracks in her voice.

I wasn't expecting them to be so okay with this. Hearing those words come out of my moms voice made me weak hearted and start to tear up.

"So what made you want to tell us?" My dad said trying to ease into a conversation.

"Well first it was people on Twitter saying all these these things about me. The kids at my school and some of my friend too. I just wanted to end things and the only way I could do that was by coming out."

"Well like we said we'll always be here for you if you need anything?" My mom said kissing my forehead.

We talked for a bit longer and then hugged each other before going to our rooms. That night I laid on my bed replaying the images in my head. 'My parents are awesome' I thought to myself. Now I just have to tell the guys. How are they going to react? Will they still be there for me?

The next day I got ready and texted the guys to come over. (Just btw if you don't know, the boys are: Matthew Espinosa, Nash/Hayes Grier, Taylor Caniff, Shawn Mendes, Aaron Carpenter, Carter Reynolds, and both Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky.)

About an hour later they arrived. We all talked and hanged out for a while before I said anything. We had just come inside from playing an intense game of basketball and we were all hot and sweaty. We were all seated in the living room and thought that it was a perfect time to tell them.

"Hey you guys."

They all turned towards me

"I need to tell you something."

Right as I said that my heart started to race just like when I was telling my parents.

I took a deep breath then quickly shouted, "I'm gay!"

This time I did have my eyes open and I could see the some of the guys eyes were wide open, which have me a wheezy feeling. Then they all bursts out laughing. I was utterly confused.

"Dude, we already kinda knew!" said Gilinsky

"Wha? How did you know if I..."

"It wasn't really hard to tell, " Taylor said interrupting me, "You would kinda make it obvious when you were staring at a guy."

I could feel the blood rush up to my cheeks.

"Awe look he's blushing!" Matt screamed

They all started screaming then dog piled on top of me. I was in pain but pretty happy. 'I have awesome friends' I said to myself.
