Will didn't know whether he felt jealous or relieved as he waited for Nico at the infirmary. He watched as Nico's shoulders loosened and his posture slumped, obviously happy to get his secret off his chest. Will knew what Nico was telling Percy, even if Nico hadn't told him (or come out to him for that matter). Will had been pining for the boy for the past year and seeing him confess his attraction to someone else, even if it was dwindling, was definitely not crushing Will at all. However, watching Percy's face slacken in shock made it worth it. Not to mention getting to watch Nico turn on his heel with a smug grin on his face. Gods, Will loved that face and that cheeky grin and those lips. He's so gay. Well, he's bi really but Nico Di Angelo makes him gay. Girls don't even exist when Nico walks into the room, no one does except him.

Watching Nico walk towards him makes Will slip into a trance. He remembers the first time he saw Nico. Will thought his height was adorable and his hair flopping across his face was just too cute. But, about 6 months ago Will started to notice just how fit Nico really was. He started paying far too much attention to how well those black skinnies defined his calves and thighs. Will noticed how his black tees perfectly hugged his biceps. He always knew he liked boys, but Nico Di Angelo was something else.

Just as Will was about to get lost in his thoughts, practically drooling, Nico reached him. "Well, Solace." Nico's voice broke his thoughts, "Are we going, or shall I take my chance and run now before I'm trapped forever?"

"Haha sunshine, you wouldn't make it very far. You owe me three days and that's doctor's orders." Will really didn't know how he kept his voice steady through more than two words whilst literal perfection glared at him.

Will felt quite proud of the tiniest blush he caught spreading across Nico's tanned, olive cheeks. "What did you call me Solace? Sunshine? Really?"

"Yep. Now let's get you inside before I think of some more adorable nicknames and the grumpy puppy starts to bite." Will started to walk into the infirmary, trusting Nico to follow. Not without, however, catching Nico's muttered 'I am not a grumpy puppy,' as he stalked behind Will.

Nico didn't think he'd ever been this glad to walk behind someone before. Even his scowl couldn't hide the blush that took over his face when Will called him a 'grumpy puppy.' Who did Solace think he was making Nico feel emotions like that? He had no right to awaken Nico's skeletal butterflies. The cheek of that man. Anyway, as much as he'd love to deny it, saving himself from embarrassment wasn't the only reason he loved walking behind Will. But Will's ass was not important right now.

Don't get him wrong Nico was really glad he didn't have to sleep in the Hades cabin; it was far too dark and vampire-ish. The coffins did not help. But the thought of having to spend three days cooped up with 'straight boy Will' was hellish. He didn't think he could look at those freckles and that tanned skin and those gorgeous blond locks and watch how perfectly the orange camp tee complimented Will's complexion, without pouncing on the poor boy. Nico really should sort himself out. Maybe the whole trauma thing did give him some issue's, but the problems Will awoke were all down to internalised homophobia and 'my daddy's the king of Hell' issues.

Thinking about the first time he saw Will was very embarrassing for Nico. He remembers having to physically pick his jaw up off the floor and wipe the drool from the corner of his mouth all whilst remembering how to blink. He didn't even react to Percy like that. He didn't know what it was about Will that made him swoon. It definitely wasn't his Apollo blood. Nico doesn't think any of the other Apollo boys are good looking. And Will is also Percy's exact opposite: light hair, tanned skin, freckles, intelligent, calm, sickeningly optimistic, and a healer more than a fighter. So in conclusion, if Nico has a type he has not figured it out and he should probably get some lessons on self-restraint before he confesses his undying love for yet another straight boy.

It was with this thought that he realised Will was actually talking to him and he had somehow ended up in a long-stay room at the infirmary, sat on a bed, with a clean pair of joggers and an oversized t-shirt in his hands.

"I saw your eyes were glazed over as soon as we reached the room." Will was staring straight at him, "I've been ranting about how Larry is real, and I want to be Louis Tomlinson's best friend for the past five minutes." His giggle was so beautiful-wait no, what, shut up Nico your inner thoughts are seeping into my narration. "So, would you like to know what I would have been saying if you were listening."

"Oh. What's Larry and whose Louis Tomlinson? Actually, please don't tell me." This made Will laugh, which made Nico smile, which made Nico scowl. "Just tell me Solace and stop distracting me." Will's eyebrow raise very obviously meant 'oh? So, I was the one distracting you?' but Nico brushed that off.
