Chapter one

Chapter 1

I was riding a bicycle with my earphones on. I was listening to an upbeat music and then suddenly my phone died.

'Damn.. Timing, you're one hell of a smart bitch!' and of course timing just love me so much to the point that it wants me to die in order for me not to feel anymore pain. Someone keeps on shouting at me, but what i noticed the most was the bus running close to me. I was too astonished that i can't even move.

Then suddenly someone yanks  me from my bike. I was saved but my bike, well... it transformed into a new level and i can't use it anymore, duh! 

The boy keeps on asking if i'm ok,  but i'm still trying to savor the moment. Like, c'mon Dude! it's not like everyday you get the chance to have a transformer bike, I mean this could be the last time that I get to see it.

"Hey kid, you ok?  talk to me! Hey!, do I need to bring you to the hospital?" This guy have the guts to call me a kid when he looks the same as my age? Ok, I admit I am a kid but I'm smarter than the others, I have the mind of an adult.  

" Nah, I'm fine, thanks for saving me, but I think you forgot to save my other half." The boy looks confused from what I've said but when he saw where I'm looking he finally get it.

"Well, you can't actually expect me to save you and your bike with this kind of body right?" He grinned at me after that. 

"Yeah?, well maybe when you finally have that kind of body, maybe you can save me again" I kid, I actually hate being saved by someone, I like being independent just like Mulan.

He laughed at me after that. I removed my necklace which happens to be the only one in the world since I'm the only one who have this kind of design. He was confused and shocked at the same time when i suddenly put it in his neck. 

"What's this?" I arched my eyebrow when he said that, I wonder if this is his first time seeing a necklace.

"A necklace" I said in a duh tone.

" I mean, why did you put it on my neck?" Are you kidding me? How can someone be so stupid?

" There's a reason why it was called necklace,  it was meant to be placed on the neck" No shit sherlock! He sighs when I told him that.

"It's yours now"  I gave up so I revealed the obvious. He tried removing it but i stopped him.

" Look ,I don't like having debt at someone so you can have it"

" But I'm not asking something in return" Don't care.

" Can you please just accept it? Please? If you don't want it, you can think of something, then you can give it back" I look into his eyes when I said it so he can know that I'm being serious and it worked.

"Alright, I'll think of something, but I really can't accept this, it looks important" I smiled after hearing what he said. Finally!

"You can have that for now, you can only give it back when I gave the other" He sigh defeatedly.

" Can you meet me tomorrow then? Same time, at the park near here?"

"Yeah, sure!, I promise to be here! " After that we parted. Tomorrow came and I had loads of works to do if you consider reading working. My mom just bought me a book And I was so engrosed to it that i didn't even notice the time.

 When I remembered our deal, it's already too late. He's not there anymore.

 I wake up feeling a little groggy. I had been dreaming about him ever since I broke that promise. It stopped when I was busy at school, but when summer started, it came back again. It may look like a small thing, but not for me, I was never the type to break a promise so somehow it haunts me.

I stand up and went to the bathroom even though it pains me but I have to. School starts tomorrow and I don't even have a piece of paper for it. I started doing my morning routines, then get dressed. I went down for breakfast and i only had coffee.

You must be wondering where's my mom and dad or maybe not, I'm going to tell you anyway. They're on a business trip so yeah, I'm the ruler of the house right now.Too bad I don't have a sibling to command, that would have been cool, I will really feel like a queen.  Man, it sucks being an only child! 

I opened my wattpad account to see if there's any update to the stories that I've been reading and there's none. None. What a pleasant surprise!  How could they not update after leaving a cliffhanger? Its been one week for Pete's sake! Don't they know how much curiosity kills? I'm not a cat so satisfaction can't bring it back! I've had enough! I'm going to remove it from my library! But then, I didn't, I still waited. Damn it!

After waiting for a few more minutes, I got bored so i decided to go and buy my things. I went back to my room to change. I look for my wallet, but i can't find it. It took me Fifteen minutes to remember that i put it in my side bag a while ago.

'Stupid girl! No wonder you can't beat that jerk!' A voice in my mind told me.

'Well you do realize that we are one right? So that makes you stupid too! stupid! and that guy is not even trying so it still mystefies how he manages to become first! I wonder what kind of spell did he cast on his papers?' I can't believe I'm fighting and asking myself right now!

' Well dude! he's half asian!what do you expect? It's an asian logic and it's all over the internet! How can you not remember it?' 

"whatever' I rolled my eyes, just because it's all over the internet doesn't mean it's true! How racist! and a part of my brain is racist too! bah!

I finally went to the mall and after buying my things, I decided to go to the park, the park where I promised to meet that boy. I've been doing this a lot of times that this park became my hangout place hoping to see him even though I can't remember his face. 

I stayed there for a few minutes listening to music when my phone died.Talk about deja vu. I remove my earphones when suddenly, I saw a familiar face.

"What the hell is that jerk doing here?"
