Description: Todoroki loses control of his fire side after getting angry. His self esteem drops, and he has to keep it a secret...

Shoto Todoroki was a calm and stoic student of UA. Son of Pro Hero Endeavor, he was expected to always know everything. He didn't. Todoroki was just like the other students. He was a child. Todoroki made mistakes, just like Midoriya or Iida.
His anger was going wild. The boy had just compared him to his father! Before long, Todoroki felt his left side flaming. With the only real experience with his left side being the sports festival, he had little control over the flames. He felt the fire growing hotter, burning his pale skin. That's when he was able to think and take control over his quirk. He was able to see clearly, but soon, he wished he wasn't.
There, in front of him, was the boy, unconscious and covered in burns. Todoroki felt his heart speed up, as he felt fear fill him. His eyes welled up with tears as he was trying to figure out what to do. He knew he should have told someone, but his father would literally kill him. He was terrified.
He finally came to a decision after 5 agonizing minutes. He would have to hide the boy's body and try not to think about the incident. Todoroki took the burnt and hot body and lifted it to a dumpster in an alleyway. He placed the body against the green bin as he took the shovel that was conveniently leaning against a wall and dug a hole that he decided was deep enough. With sweaty hands, he took the body and placed it in the hole he had dug. As he was filling the hole, he had realized that he had school the next day, and his father would not let him skip.

The next day was painful. He was eating breakfast when his brother, Natsuo had come to confront him about his burnt, dirty and sweaty clothes he had washed.
"Why the Hell did I wash bloody clothes, Shoto?" Natsuo said. Todoroki had completely forgotten that if burns were bad enough, they bled.
"Um, because Fuyumi wasn't home?" Was Todoroki's sassy remark.
"I'm asking about your bloody clothes, idiot!" Natsuo snapped. Todoroki flinched, expecting to be hit. "Sorry..."
"It's f-fine. Um...I fell? And scraped my...uhh...ch-chest?" Todoroki said, cursing himself for stuttering.
"Like Hell you did. You're gonna be late. I want an explanation when you get back. My room." Natsuo said, walking away as to not give Todoroki time to refuse.
Todoroki started his walk to school, making it there just after Iida.
"Hello, Todoroki." Iida greeted, offering a smile.
"Hi, Iida." Todoroki replied, grinning back. They both chatted for a while before retiring to their own seats. Soon after, students started coming in.
As the bell rung, Aizawa stood up, unzipping his bag.
"Today's lesson will be on Manslaughter." Aizawa said. 'What a coincidence...' Todoroki thought, resting his head on his hand.
"Does anyone know what Manslaughter is?" Immediately, Bakugo spoke up.
"Manslaughter, the crime of killing a human being without malice aforethought, or otherwise in circumstances not amounting to murder." He explained, earning a 'what the hell' look from Kaminari and Kirishima.
"Well done, Bakugo. The sentence for Manslaughter here in Japan is usually 10 years. Manslaughter is not considered as bad as murder because the person who has committed the crime did not have the intent of killing or harming the victim." Aizawa explained. Soon, Todoroki's mind was back on the incident that happened the night before. Just like that, he was panicking.
"Todoroki. Todoroki? Todoroki!" Aizawa said, quickly making his way to Seat No. 15. Once he made it to Todoroki, the boy was having a full blown panic attack.
"Todoroki, I need you to listen to me. Can you hear me?" Though his words sounded extremely faint and far, Todoroki gave a very slight nod.
"Okay, I need you to do as I say. Name five things you can see, kid." Aizawa said. Todoroki hesitantly opened his bloodshot eyes and looked around.
"Y-you, the class, the d-d-desks, ch-chairs, and-d m-my hands." Todoroki stumbled.
"Good, now, 4 things you can feel." Aizawa ordered. Todoroki thought for a minute.
"Y-your hand on m-my shoulder, th-the desks, the heat, and my hand..." Todoroki replied as his breathing slowed and he started to feel the temperature return to normal, not too hot, not too cold.
"3 things you can hear." Aizawa said.
"Y-you, my breathing and the c-class..." Todoroki said, finally acknowledging the 20 eyes that were on him.
"You're doing great, kid. Now, two things you can smell." Aizawa said.
"Um...my c-cologne and...caramel?" Todoroki questioned, not really wanting an answer.
"One thing that you can taste."
"Guilt." Todoroki accidentally blurted out. He got a questioning look from Aizawa before the man stood, going to his phone.
"Who's home today?" Aizawa asked, knowing that Endeavor wasn't always home due to hero work.
"N-Natsuo..." Todoroki said, watching as the teacher dialed a number and put the phone to his ear.
"Hello? This is Shota Aizawa, Todoroki's teacher. Todoroki had a pretty bad panic attack. Are you willing to pick him up?" Aizawa asked. He hung up after the response. "Your brother will be here in a few minutes." Todoroki nodded.
After a while, there was a knock at 1A's door. Aizawa went to open it, and in walked a worried boy.
"Shoto! Are you okay?" Natsuo said, walking quickly towards the hot and cold boy.
"I'm fine..." Todoroki replied, standing up and following the taller male to the car.
"You know, we've got to talk about this, Sho." Natsuo said, sending a worried glance towards Todoroki.
"I swear, Mom, you, and Fuyumi have the same type of care!" Todoroki said, trying to lighten the dark mood in the car.
"Not the right time, Sho. Why'd you have the panic attack?" Natsuo said as he pulled out of the parking lot.
"Do I have to?" Todoroki asked, suddenly finding his hands to be far more interesting than his brother's eyes, which were sending him an obviously look.
"Yes, Shoto. You do. I won't tell our old man, Mom, or Fuyumi. As long as you're not dying, that is." Natsuo stated.
"It's a long story, Natsuo...I feel so guilty! I don't know what to do!" Just like that, Todoroki was in tears, the car was on the side of the road, and Natsuo was embracing his younger brother.
"Hey, calm down. It can't be that bad, right? Tell me what happened." Natsuo whispered.
"L-long story short, I g-got mad and accidentally k-killed someone..." Todoroki muttered to his brother. He wasn't worried about Natsuo telling anyone, that boy has gotten into many fist fights with his classmates, it was a wonder he wasn't expelled from the college.
"It can be that bad..." Natsuo muttered before speaking again. "It wasn't your fault, Sho. It'll be okay. I won't tell anyone until you're ready, okay? But you've gotta tell someone, even your friend. I mean, try Iida, wasn't he involved with that Stain thing?" Natsuo said. Todoroki's head shot up.
"How?" Todoroki asked, eyes wide. Natsuo shrugged.
"A brother knows everything...but really, he's too loud when he yells at you, Sho." Natsuo said.
"Oh. But you won't tell anyone?" Todoroki said.
"I won't, I pinky promise!" Natsuo said, sticking out his finger like a child. Todoroki intertwined their fingers and got a goofy grin back.
As the day drew on, Fuyumi was itching to know the seemingly interesting secret between her younger brothers.
"Please tell me, Natsuo! Sho won't know, he's in bed!" Fuyumi begged.
"Fuyumi, as much as I want to tell you, I promised Sho I wouldn't tell." Natsuo said.
"I won't say a word, I promise! He won't even know that I know!" Fuyumi said in an innocent voice, far too different than her voice that she had gotten from the children she taught.
"You promise? Dad'll kill him if he found out." Fuyumi nodded, eyebrows stitching together. "Okay, well...I don't know the full story, but this is what Sho told me..." Natsuo explained the whole story, and in the end, Fuyumi was looking at him with eyes filled with horror.
"Natsuo! We've got to tell someone! I mean, even the Iida family! They'd help! Oh, goodness, my little brother's a murderer!" Fuyumi wailed, nearly bursting into tears.
"Fuyumi, no! It was an accident! He's not a murderer!" Natsuo said, hitting the girl on the back of the head gently.
