For the first time I found myself celebrating my birthday alone. It had been only 2 weeks since I moved to this new city trying to get away of my sad life full of deceptions. Alone, with no friends, no family, no people I like. As soon as I got here I began to work; unfortunately, my coworkers are the type of people who I never want to get along with. So, this day, my birthday, I decided to have a party just for myself, and the only person invited: me. Well, not that I was crying for someone to be with me, I actually enjoy having some time alone. It makes me reflect on the way I am.

Anyways, I went to a bakery to buy a small cake, then to the supermarket to get some snacks and why not? some drinks too, after all, starting today I got a one-week vacation. On the way home, I walked down a street different from the one I use to take, but to my pleasure I found a little shop with lots of things I liked. Time to get my present. Among all the things the shop had, I fell in love with a bracelet with some letters on it, KJW. Heh, the initials of his name, I thought, if only he was here, I would not be alone. But of course, that was just a dream. He does not even count as my crush, my first love, or anything related to that. Actually I do not even know him, basically the only thing I know about him is the stuff I have watched in those videos that showed his way to being a famous rapper in South Korea. Bobby. The guy whose smile captivated me. So, yeah, the only thing I can feel about him is admiration.

As I was dazzled by the beauty of the bracelet the shop's owner approached to me.

-Buying a present for someone? - she asked.

-Well, kind of like that, it is my birthday present - I answered.

At that time I was not sure if I did well in telling her that. I think that the fact that I was the only one celebrating it made me feel as if I wanted someone else to know it was my birthday.

- Oh! In that case I will give you something special if you buy this bracelet - She made me an offer I did not want to reject. I love free stuff.

-Thank you, then I will buy it

With that I closed the deal. Happy for my purchase and the free gift I continued my way back home.

As soon as I got home I started arranging the things for my own party. Took out the food, cooked it and put it on the table. Snacks in a bowl and the glass for the drinks, played the playlist that contains all the music from my favorite bands, all ready. I finished all the food and now was time for the cake. Then I remembered the bracelet I bought and decided to put it on, then I looked for the free stuff I got. It was a candle, well a really weird candle, it said "Make a wish and it will come true". What a joke, I thought. Since I had nothing to lose I lit it and put it on the cake and sang the Happy Birthday song to myself. So sad. I thought of my wish, actually I was wishing for a better job with better coworkers and a better salary, but at that moment I looked at the bracelet and smiled. I blew the candle and cut the cake. It was delicious.

Honestly, I was never a good drinker after the second beer I started feeling the effects of the alcohol. As a result, I began my karaoke session. The only good thing about my appartment is that it belonged to a drummer before, so the guy had the whole thing made sound-proof so he could practice with no one bothering him. I sang to my heart's content and drank until I dropped. I had no idea of the time but I think I barely passed the midnight, of course I blame the alcohol. Tired, I went to my bed taking off most of my clothing and fell asleep with a happy face. No work tomorrow, hell yeah!, said to myself.

I woke up late in the morning and noticed two things: I had a terrible headache and there was a guy sleeping next to me.
