It was their second wedding anniversary. Brad had a huge surprise up his sleeve. However; she was absolutely clueless.
He had told her to pack a suitcase as they were going away for the weekend. He gave her a low key briefing of the weather.
Both his and her parents had decided to let the couple get away for their second wedding anniversary as they were going to alternate in who minded their little princess.
Brad had booked for them to fly out of Birmingham on Friday morning and return on Sunday evening.
As the walked to the gate she couldn't keep in her excitement as she tried to guess the places they were going.
However he was giving no hints whatsoever. He was good at that, keeping surprises so she got the full adrenaline rush.
Approaching the gate they stopped in the middle of the airport.
'You want to know where we're going?' He asked as he took hold of one of her hands.
She nodded eagerly in reply as she had awaited this moment the past 3 weeks since Brad told her they were going away.
'We are going to,' he paused as he looked deep into her eyes. 'Paris.'
As the words left his mouth her hand instantly went to her mouth in shock and her eyes began to well up.
'We're finally going.' She quietly sobbed.
'We are.' He smiles lovingly at his wife before pulling her in for his famous warm hug. 'Together.'
Passerby's had witnessed the moment of the couple and couldn't help but smile themselves; anyone could tell how in love they were.
The plane journey was filled of her gushing about how much she couldn't wait to explore the city and Brad rhyming off the places they would go and the things they would get up to.
Their first day was spent walking through the cobbled streets where they found a small restaurant and devoured lunch before they went to visit the Louvre Museum.
She had studied art in school and absolutely adored it. She loved it so much that she went on to do it in uni and came out with a degree.
Brad watched as his wife obsessed over all of the paintings in the gallery as well as the statues that towered them.
'Brad look at this one!' She then went into a cute little rant of the history behind the painting that hung on the wall.
He didn't even take half of it in as he watched his wife with adoring eyes, the smile on his lips never left.
After she had finished talking he leaned in and placed a loving kiss to her lips.
As they left the museum she got him to try and get the perfect picture outside of the iconic landmark. Brad assured her that any photo she was in was perfect was she didn't believe him.
A passerby offered to take one of the couple in-front of the building much to her delight as she loved to look back at photos of her and Brad in the different cities they had visited.
She had a folder on her phone for every place they had visited; the photos mostly consisting of photos of the couple.
After they had spent the rest of the day exploring both were exhausted from being on their feet all day.
Not to mention the fact that their little princess has been teething lately therefore meaning the couple hadn't been getting much sleep.
She suggested going back to the hotel and bringing food back to which he gladly agreed to; happy to spend time with her no matter what they were doing.
