Saved by the Assassin

Chapter 7

I look around the room for my guns spotting them on a draw near the stairs. I walk over to the table seeing all types of supplies for surgery...lifting a particular scalpel up I see initials on them immediately realizing who's behind all of this.

"Sh*t"

I walk over to Xavier cutting him free. I lift his arm over my shoulder putting an arm around he's waist.

"Di..did you kill him?"

"No I just put him to sleep"
Having no room for his stupidity I head up the stairs speeding up feeling liquid drip from my hand from Xavier wounds opening wider.
Opening the basement door walking into the janitors closet. I lay Xavier on the ground turning to search for the first aid kit. I started to question him

"How did you get in there?"

"We...were in class when I heard gun shoots and then Selena and Maria were..de..dead"

"And why not you? You we're on top of the list...why not take you out first?"

I stop looking for the first aid my hand reaching for my gun in front on my pants. Just as I go to get it I'm passed up against the wall. My fingertips brushes against the slide of the gun. He pushed he's knee into my back with his arm keeping my shoulders from moving and other arm gripping my right arm bending it.
Leading down by my ears his breath hot against my neck making me cringe in disgust.

"When did you realize I was acting."

"How about because your a terrible actor"

"Oh come on Lizzy you know that's a lie."
He brushes his tongue on my earlobe. I push up against him grabbing my gun just to be pushed back down.

"Trying to escaped?...You know I just can't get over the fact that your an assassin. Your even more badass then when we we're kids."

How did he know that?

Xavier pulls my gun out of my waist. I feel the cool metal to my head.

"We're going to be so big when we get out of there... I'm going to say you hired school shooters we started to kill them then...then Copper them died...aww poor Cooper.I finally like a girl like...actually like her not just to sleep with but really like...and what does she tell me she likes COPPER. And guess what because of HIM I lost what was Mine!"

"Is that why you slept with Pl..Sarah?"
I lift my gun pointing it on the side on my waist trying to steady the gun I continue to listen to Xavier 'Life story'.
One girl didn't like me my life's over. I mentally roll my ears at the bad boy falling for the good girl. To bad that good girl liked a good guy. Maybe if he didn't change he could of been that good guy.

"LIZZY GET BACK HERE"

Gripping my hand on the door knob I open it turning around to my father. Or like he tells me call him Mr. Nottage.

"Oh I'm 'Lizzy' now, thought I was 'Stone?' "Referring to my code name.

"Lizzy it isn't that serious."
I watch my father's angry expression turn into an annoyed one.
