Whilst investigating the death of a local waitress, an uneasy investigator named Blakely Sawyer uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, sharp knife circulating throughout Black Crystal, Idaho. As soon as anyone uses the knife, he or she has exactly 14 days left to live.
The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look distorted. A marked person feels like a suspicious cat to touch.
Blakely gets ahold of the knife, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: an anxious dark like shadow hovering over a terrified waitress, an old newspaper headline about a terrifying accident, a hooded man ranting about this knife and a abandoned house located in a gloomy place.
When Blakely notices her arms have odd-like features, she realizes that the curse of the shape knife is true and calls her partner, and investigator Luna Foster, to help.
Luna investigates the kings and willingly sum kits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before her eyes. She finds the anxious dark like shadow hovering over a terrified eateries particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death.
Blakely and Luna pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the dark like shadow. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
