"OH MY GOD AM I STILL FALLING-" I screamed but when I opened my eyes, my shoes were already landed on the ground.

"We landed few minutes ago and why are you still thinking you're falling?" the man in the gold masquerade mask asked me as I glared at him.

"I told you before I'm scared of heights!" i yelled at that stranger who scoffed at my loud yelling.

"Well let's go now shortie, we have work to do "He walked away, while carrying a metallic bow and I just noticed that he was carrying a tube at his back that stores all of his arrows.

"What work and just... Who are you? A wannabe Hawkeye or Green Arrow with red hair you strawberry shortcake guy. That's for calling me shortie when I still can grow with this young age of mine "I shot as I could see him turning around.

"first of all you spoiled brat, I'm not DC comics or marvel wannabe at here and yes you're a shortie. My name is Kang Taehyun and you my friend, is my soulmate as you can see, you have the same earring as mine that was hanging on my left ear but mines a lock while yours the opposite. I'll tell you the story and what we should do if you tell me your name or I'll call you brat all along if you don't "He told me as I crossed my arms to my chest looking at him.

"Yuri... Han Yuri, so can you just talk now. And mind if you open that mask? Geez, looking at it really makes me believe that this ketchup head guy is a wannabe superhero carrying arrows "

He sighed and opened the mask that made me utterless when I saw that pair of attractive eyes staring at me directly.

"Done? Now let's go "

I followed him from behind, while he was explaining in a calm voice yet my mind that was full of amazing imaginations started to torture me by imagining like what if I took one of his arrows and threw it to someone can maybe make them fall in love. Maybe he's a secret cupid? Or should I just poke him with that arrow in surprise and see what happens-

"Don't you dare hurt me or what. Without me, you'll probably won't survive here at this land full of dangers. Hmm...let's start exploring at red riding hood forest first at there "he suggested as I scoffed as my curiosity kills me inside.

"But what if I try to poke you with one of your arrows? I really want to know what happens next" I threatened and then sneakily took an arrow from the tube before hiding it well behind my sleeves.

"I swear to god if you did that, I'm going to shove you at the Lake of Swan Lake and drown you in there if you're going to poke me with it "He turned at me suspiciously whilst pointing to a beautiful lake near where we are standing, that had a wooden sign said caution about a meter from the lake.

"well I dare you to "I growled and threw the arrow at him but he turned his body, missing the arrow perfectly as he smirked at me.

"You're really challenging me huh? We weren't supposed to duel with our own soulmates but I guess it's needed now "he pushed me but I held his shoulders while he held mine as we both tried to push each other so one of us would fell down to that innocent like-lake.

"How can you be my soulmate when all of this is just a nonsense. My aunt said that soulmates have things in common but I guess me and my 'soulmate' is not going well already on our first meeting "I groaned, still holding onto his shoulders to push but he held it back and now my back was facing the lake's edge so I grabbed his neck and swung my body so he's the one had his back facing the lake now.

Our strength was equal but because I'm a bit weaker now, he turned the tables around and now my feet are already inside the water a bit.

"But we do have things in common and it's not wanting to give up fighting, for example right now "he laughed but then my hands grabbed his hair as I hit his head with mine, making both of us fell in the lake together, drowning deep.

The girl opened her eyes, now realizing that she no longer was drowning in the water but instead can breathe in the fresh atmosphere, didn't realize the lake led them to the real folktale as they unconsciously made themselves as the characters of the fairytale.

What the heck, why am I a swan. I never recalled anything transforming or having a surgery to be a swan.

She asked herself but she was confused about the fact that she can't say a word that she wanted nor do anything she wants as her swan feet landed on the grass along with some other flocks of swans with her just beside a large sparkling lake that sparkles under the bright moonlight.

Suddenly, she felt herself transforming into a human form as she fight within herself to control with her own body and succeeded.

"Why in the world am I wearing a white dress like in those swan lake ballet performance. It's not like I'm dancing and I'm not Odette "she laughs, looking at her own reflection from the lake that was wearing a white dress that Odette wears in the folktale as she turns around expecting for the Prince Siegfried to come any minute by now like in the Swan Lake story. Thanks to her always watching Barbie movies, she even never missed the classics ones too, she remembered all the scenes and the ballet dances yet she knows that this fairytale has a horrible ending.

"Hey don't you dare shoot me mister, I'm a human now not a swan-" she shouted at a man hiding in the dark as he stepped out making her speechless when it was Taehyun himself but his character was different.

He looked calm and more dreamy than the first one she met.

"I'm not going to harm you my lady "he said without realizing as he approached her with his cross bow in his hand.

He was puzzled on what was happening because the minute he opened his eyes just now he was hunting with a friend that he barely knew and got lost. He also followed a flock of swans that led him here and saw her screaming at him making him wonder how can she not feel controlled when he himself was controlled as like forcing him to follow the lines and the acting of the folktale story.

Suddenly, she noticed something on one of the swans nearby as her eyes widened, trying to make a signal at Taehyun but unfortunately, she was now controlled once again.
