"Jordan get yo' ass down" I fussed at him as he was climbing on my desk in my office.
I now own a nail salon but I don't do nails I do waxes and sometimes I do hair on the side.
"No!" He yelled at me.
I frowned at him. "Boy who you yelling at? Ima tell yo daddy"
"No!" He yelled again.
I shook my head and sat down waiting for Marcus to come pick him up.
we are not together we both single and I'm fine with being single.
I heard a knock on the door before it opened revealing Marcus and his son with McDonald's bags.
"Bubba!" Jordan yelled rushing off my desk running towards Isaiah hugging his leg.
I smiled at how close they are and grabbed my food from Marcus. "Thank you"
he nodded and sat in one of the chairs that's In my office.
"So you not gon show daddy sum love?" Marcus asked Jordan frowning as Jordan was sitting In Isaiah lap.
Jordan looked at him and back at Isaiah who was on his phone before speaking. "Hi"
"Boy" Marcus said standing up before picking him up and throwing him in the air and catching him making him squeal.
"Stoppppp" Jordan said laughing.
"Should've gave me a hug" Marcus said sitting down with Jordan in his lap.
"Hey Ameil", I spoke smiling at him.
"Wassup jass." he said looking at me then back at his phone.
after I gave birth to Jordan I took it upon myself and I talked to Nicole and we talked things out and ain't no bad blood but we not besties.
"Jordan you needa eat" I said handing him some fries.
He stuffed his mouth making me shake my head and grab some of the fries out his mouth and sat them on a napkin.
"Don't do that you gon choke" Marcus said to Jordan.
"Okay" he nodded chewing slowly.
I chuckled and shook my head while wiping my hands on a napkin and answering my phone.

"Kirah teacher gon tell me she kissed a boy at recess" I said mugging her as kirah sat in front of me at the kitchen table.
Jasmine busted out laughing making me mug my phone. "Boy she is 8, she's curious"

My feelings for jasmine are there still I guess but after I moved I realized a relationship wouldnt have been for me because I put my all into being a farther and only that.
I live In New York still and I work at a G-wagon dealership making a decent amount of money while kirah mother decided to not be a mother anymore and decided her modeling career was more important then kirah so ima single dad but shit it's basically been like that.
She snickered. "Leave that girl alone. You just needa explain to her that kissing a boy at 8 is not okay"
I sighed and nodded. "Alright. I'll talk to you later"
"Okay" she said before hanging up.
our relationship is how it used to be when we where in our teens and I'm glad because we would argue all the time now it's all jokes and smiles. 7 months after I moved I seen jasmine at Walmart she was visiting her mom and we just starting talking since.
Im actually In a happy state, ion agree when people say relationship make you happy, I mean they can but you can be happy and single.
"Go to yo' room until dinner" I told kirah .
"I- but okay daddy." she said before standing up and running upstairs.
"STOP RUNNING!" I yelled making her running stop immediately.
I sighed and stood up going towards the refrigerator grabbing the hamburger meat.
Shit may have been complicated but in the last year or so things been turning out for the good not just for us but Jasmine and her people, just everybody around us
Our lives are finally not complicated.
