I opened my eyes and stretched my body. I let my body tense up and release and then yawned. I smiled as I remembered what day it was. Today was my boyfriends and I's 2 year anniversary.
I rolled over and grabbed my phone that was laying on the nightstand. I unhooked the charger and pressed the power button. I saw a notification from my boyfriend and a wide smile spread across my face.
From 𝚃𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚗 <3: Good morning princess! Happy 2 year anniversary. Can't believe it's been so long. 😘
I pressed my phone to my chest and sighed happily. My smile getting even wider.
To 𝚃𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚗 <3: Hi baby! I'm so happy I'm able to say we've been together for 2 years! I love you so much. <3
From 𝚃𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚗 <3: I love you too baby. I hope you have a good day!
I loved him so much. He was so amazing to me. He was the only guy who actually had showed me what true love actually was, he's been here for me whenever I needed him and he's all I could ever ask for.
To 𝚃𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚗 <3: I hope you have a good day too baby. I'll text you later. <33333
I turned my phone off and bounced out of bed. I walked over to the closet and picked out a simple yet cute outfit. I picked through my closet. I had hundreds of clothes. I had been collecting clothes over the last three years and I've acquired quite a bit. I was proud of how many clothes I had.
After about 15 minutes of trying to decide on an outfit I finally decided on a lilac colored tube top with a butterfly on the front, some mom jeans and my slip on black and white
checkered converse. I paired it with a gold bracelet, a gold anklet, and some purple and white hair clips.
I walked over to the mirror and smiled. I was happy with the way I looked. Rich, brown, almond shaped eyes. A small petite nose. Thin lips. Light brown, full eyebrows. Long dark eyelashes and to top it all off long light brown hair.
I had a small figure. Small waist with a decent ass. Decent sized breasts and height of 5'2. For a 16 year old that was pretty short. Fortunately, no one really made a big deal about it. Some of the boys used to tease me about it but I just learned to ignore them.
After admiring myself in the mirror for a few minutes I began brushing through my long, thick hair. Brushing my hair was always a pain in the ass. After brushing it I put in the purple and white hair clips. I applied some lipgloss and mascara that I always kept in my purse. I smiled and bounced into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and skipped washing my face. I was too excited to do that and I wanted to get the day started as soon as possible. I showered last night so good thing I didn't have to worry about that.
I practically skipped down the stairs and hummed my favorite song. I sat down at the kitchen island and grinned widely.
"Morning!" I chimed cheerfully to my mom and younger sister. My sister, who was always annoyed with my cheerful attitude, rolled her eyes.
"What's got you so excited this morning?" My mom turned away from the stove and raised her eyebrows at me.
"It's Tristan's and I's two year anniversary!" I exclaimed. My moms face changed into a surprised look and quickly into a warm smile as she cleared her throat.
"That's great sweetie! I'm so glad to see you happy. He better not break your heart or I'll have his head on a stick." My mom said protectively. She was very protective but I appreciated it. It meant she cared. My sister scoffed.
"No fair. I want to date someone for two years." My sister complained.
"Maybe if your attitude was better you would." I smiled sarcastically and my sister rolled her eyes.
My mom sat a plate of eggs, bacon and toast in front of me. She did the same for my sister and I got my own drink. My sister got apple juice and I got milk. I sat down and smiled satisfyingly. Mom was a great cook. Her eggs were my favorite and she always made them just how I looked them. I ate as quickly as possible. Ready to go out for the day. I finished and rinsed my plate off in the sink before bouncing back up the stairs.
I grabbed my purse and shoved my phone inside. I made sure I had everything I needed before running back down the stairs.
"Where are you going?" My mom asked.
"Just out with some friends for a little bit. I'll be back before dinner." I smiled and gave her a quick hug before skipping out of the front door and getting into my car.
My mom got me a white Jeep for my birthday. That's been my dream car ever since I was little. I turned the car on and connected my phone to the aux cord and pulled up my favorite playlist. I turned up the volume and cheerfully sung along. I grabbed my phone.
To 𝚁𝚘𝚜𝚊𝚕𝚢𝚗: Hey! I'm on my way. I'll be there in 20. :)
I turned off my phone and pulled out of the driveway. I made my way down to my favorite mall. My friends promised me we'd all go shopping together for Tristan and I's anniversary. I was a little sad I couldn't see him because he lived so far away but he promised we'd FaceTime later tonight so I could see his face.
I rolled down the window to smell the warm air of Charleston, South Carolina. I'd lived in lots of different places before, but Charleston has been my favorite place to live by far. I was so glad that Mom had finally decided to settle down here and stay for good. It was beautiful year round in Charleston, but the summers were amazing. Summer was always my favorite time of the year and they were amazing times. There's so many things to do here in Charleston, it's great.
Finally, I had made it to the mall. I parked my car as close to the mall I could. For a Tuesday it was pretty busy. I walked down the long aisles of cars and finally made it to the entrance of the mall. I walked to the spot where my friends and I agreed to meet. I was excited for a day filled with shopping and I always loved spending time with the girls. There was just one thing missing. Tristan.
