2. Letting Them Know

Tonight, kian and jc were throwing a huge party just because. The whole entire friend group was going to be there so I was pretty excited to go.

I knew all the boys would be there, but there was one in particular that I was so excited to see. Corey. We are super close. We both definitely have feelings for each other, but are keeping it on the low because the friend group would flip and never shut up about us. We haven't made it official yet, but I know for a fact he's an amazing guy.

As I sat in the bathroom finishing my hair and make up, my phone flashed with a text on it. It was Corey. I loved seeing his name pop up.

"Can't wait to see you❤"

It said. A smile instantly grew on my face. I texted him back & then finished getting ready.

Every time I thought about him, butterflies formed in my stomach. He was the best.

Once I was done getting ready, I grabbed my purse and keys then headed out the door. When I got in the car, I blasted my favorite playlist and headed to kian and Jc's.

When I arrived, David and Jorge were already there. I walked in the house and of course they were already being loud.

"Hey hoes!"

I said, making my way to the kitchen where they all were.

"Hey, y/n"

They all screamed as loud as they could. I really cannot stand these kids sometimes. I rolled my eyes at them. Corey came around the corner and winked at me. I blushed.

"Hey, Corey!"

I said, running over and hugging him. He laughed, and hugged me back. He looked at me up and down, then he smiled.

"You look beautiful."

I blushed then a smile grew on my face.

"Thank you."

An hour later, everybody showed up. It was a really good night so far. Corey and I stayed together or around each other for the most part. I'm surprised nobody suspected a thing. If we ever made it official and public, I just know I would be such a lucky girl.

Everybody was dancing and drinking when suddenly Kian and Jc asked the whole friend group to play truth or dare. Oh shit. Corey and I looked at each other causing us both to laugh. Before the game started, I pulled Corey aside.

"If they do ask either one of us if we are dating. What are we supposed to say?"

I asked him, crossing my arms. He thought about it.

"Well, do you want to be my girlfriend? I mean, it's not like we aren't technically together 24/7"

He said, and I felt butterflies forming. I nodded.

"Of course. Plus, I have a feeling they caught onto us because them choosing truth or dare is so random." 

We waited for a bit. Bobby was chosen first, then Franny, then Nezza. It was going okay so far. I'm not really sure why I was nervous because I was 100% comfortable with Corey. As s00n as Nezza went, she looked around for, I'm guessing me. I put my head down and covered my face. coreys arm was on my waist. 

"Y/N it's your turn girl. Get over here."

I nervously laughed and walked over to her. I there and made eye contact with Corey. He laughs at how nervous I am which caused me to blush.

"Alright, Y/N truth or dare?"

Thinking I was smart, I chose dare.

"Ok I dare you to choose truth"

Nezza said, causing everybody to laugh.  I started laughing myself but I was sweating.

"What? Why?"

I said, I could feel myself turning red.

"Fine. Truth."

When people say "trust your gut" they aren't lying. That moment, I knew there was no escaping this one. 

"Are you and Corey secretly dating?" 

She chuckled, but gulped. If wasn't as red as a tomato before, I'm definitely one now. I began sweating again, but I nodded. 

"Yes. Yes, we are."  

I smiled and everybody started cheering. Corey came up and hugged me from behind, then he kissed me on cheek. 

Everybody seemed happy and I'm not really sure why we were so nervous. 

After we finished playing the game, Corey and I separated ourselves from everyone. He seemed to be so happy and I loved it.

"How are you feeling?" 

He asked me, as I wrapped my arms around him. 

"Happy, excited, queasy.."

We both laughed and we kissed. I just knew kian, jc and bobby would come in at that exact moment being loud. Which they did. I was so happy to let everybody know I had the best boyfriend ever. I was soo happy.
