"Regrets will always be a part of everyone's life and always will be but if you had chance to make up for it, will you do it? One does not simply does cause the moment you decide to do something reality kicks in. And by the time you know it you already move on..."

In the midst of the busy crowd the father and daughter stood and not a single soul was bothered that they suddenly appeared. That's one of the disadvantages of time travel. You can exist, interact and even try to change the faith of person but for some unknown reason you can't change the outcome or for the lack of better word the future. In the eyes of others they were just an extra character in a film strip.

People were having a blast while shouting along with the introductions of the girls standing on stage. And as the two walk close the roar of the crowd just keep getting louder and louder. The father pick up the kid, carried her to the crowd and eventually reach the edge of the stage. He let her down and she grab hold on to the rails. It was a surreal experience for both of them.

It's been X years since his wife died and he had already moved on but standing right in front of him now was his wife or soon to be wife in this time but that doesn't matter right now cause an explosion of emotion was filling him and all he can do was sigh and give a big smile while tearing up a little bit. The daughter in the other hand was in awe. She was speechless. She has photocards of her mom and they were her most priced possession but the sight of her mom standing there could easily give those photos a run for their money. Her eyes widened as if she saw an angel.

"Hi there guys! I'm MNL48 Sela." Said the idol in her sweet voice.

The crowd went nuts. As she was one of the popular members of the group. Lots of cheers can be heard and even light sticks were flashing around.

"Daddy! Is it really mommy? She's really here! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!" The kid screamed her lungs out but sadly the crowd was louder than her.

And in within a few minutes the introductions were over and was about to perform their new single until a certain scream was heard.

"MOMMY!"

To some it was a chant. To others it was a random shout but to the ears of a certain girl within the group it was something different. She can't quite understand it yet but she knew it was something she had to respond to. A quick glance to her side and she saw a girl grabbing the rails of the stage with teary eyes wide open looking at her.

Sela was caught off guard. Her chest felt heavy as if her heart was being gripped by thousands of hands but being the proffesional that she is. She just gave the little girl a smile and a wave.

"She saw me..." Said the little girl to herself.

"Hey kid time to go. We have to go back now. We cannot stay any longer" Said the father.

"Is it time already?"

"Yup, Happy Birthday baby..."

"Thank you daddy, it's the best birthday present ever...." Said the little girl while falling to her father's arms.

She was exhausted screaming her little heart out while watching the show and now past asleep. After getting out of the crowd, the two of the finally head home. A flash of light engulfed them again and their on their way back to their own time line.

After the mall tour, Sela felt something was off. Unlike before she wasn't as tired and not even hungry. She felt kinda light headed but she wasn't sick or anything. The odd feeling stayed with her throughout the ride home. While staring out of the window of the car she remembered something. It was the little girl. The pretty little angel that was looking at her at the edge of the stage. She had a nice skin just like hers. She had those puffy cheeks just like hers. But most of all she was as pretty and cute just like her. She even has her eyes. She was happy that she saw her.

"Girl are you trying to be emotional right now or something! Hahahahaha!" Sheki laugh while pulling sela's hair.

"Ouch sheki! That hurts! I just remembered something while we're performing awhile ago, ahhh nevermind stop pulling my hair!"
Sela cried and wipe her tears. Then gave sheki a submission hold to her head like a Pro MMA fighter.

"Aahhh sela! I give! I give up! You win let go of meeeee!!!!!"

"You know sheki I was having a moment right there and you have to interrupt it of all things. You see I saw a kid. She kinda look like me, she was watching at the edge of the stage. I felt so happy when I saw her. I don't know why. I gave her a wave and a smile. I was kinda hoping to see her again at the merch booth but she was nowhere to be seen."

"Maybe that's your future daughter! And she went back this time to see you perform!" Said sheki.

"Ya how I wish that was true sheki. How I wish that was true..."

In that moment, sela looked outside the window again and saw a single drop of light beaming down at the sky. It was a shooting star. Feeling lucky the only thing she could do was smile.

End.

Note:
Though this was short, I hope you guys had fun reading it. Feel free to comment. I'm sure I did lots of errors along while writing this. Btw I was inspired by the photo that I had used as cover for this story. The resemblance is uncanny so I gotta write something about it. Well anyways cheers! Be safe everyone...
