I don’t own khr. That belongs to it’s rightful creator. I only own my oc, Luna, the moon ring, and any impact she has on the story.
Spoiler alert: I will follow the anime, and then the manga very closely.

In this world a certain number of people are chosen to have a significant other, a soulmate. Those who do have a soulmate, also have a soulmate mark. A soulmate mark. A mark that will also be on they’re soulmates body. The soulmate mark comes in different forms. Some have the first words their soulmates ever speak to them, some have pictures, some even have timers. Those who have soulmates do not have to follow any age restriction laws. It is also against the law to take another person’s soulmate without their consent. This also means if a soulmarked person wants to have a divroce for any reason, it will pass through easily. Because of this, most people who do not find their soulmates, spend their entire life, alone. Because without their soulmates, they will still go on to feel incomplete...
Luna was five when the words, “You aren't a Herbivore.” appeared on her upper left arm. Starting from her shoulder and reaching up to her elbow.
“Mama! Mama!” Luna cried, running down the stairs as quick as she could.
“What’s wrong Lu-chan.” Nana asks, turning the stove off and turning to look at her baby girl.
Luna pulled up her sleeve to show her mother the black ink that had appeared on her body overnight. “What’s this?”
Nana’s eyes widened, but then they softened, as if she was about to cry. “What’s wrong mama?” Luna asks, innocently.
“N-Nothing.” Nana answers, voice shaking. “Why don’t you go get your brother. Please bring him down into the living room.” Nana tells her daughter.
Luna looks at her mother strangely. ‘Mom looks like she could use some time to herself. I should give it to her.’ Luna thinks, staring at her mother's face. “Ok. I’ll go get him.”
Nana herself slowly walks to the living room in a daze. Once in front of the couch, she falls back onto it. ‘I should have expected this. It’s not rare for the children of people with soulmarks to have soulmarks with. In fact, children with parents or even a parent who had a soulmark, had a higher chance of having a soulmark. So I really shouldn't be that surprised that she has a soulmate. Tsu-kun still hasn’t shown a sign of having a soulmark yet. The first words your soul mate ever says to you appear at the age of 5. If you're born with your soulmate's name on your body; If you're working with the timer system, then the timer starts when you're born.’ Nana put a hand on her shoulder. ‘That only leaves the most common kind. The kind that appears when you're twelve. The soulmarked tattoo. An image tattooed on your body that represents both you, and your soulmate. The same kind that I have.’ Nana was snapped out of her thoughts when Luna and Tsuna entered the room.
“Mama! Are you ok?” Tsuna asks, running towards his mother.
“I’m fine Tsu-kun.” Nana smiles. “I just need to tell you and Lu-chan something.”
“Does it have to do with the words on my arm?” Luna asks.
“Yes. Honey. It has everything to do with the mark on your arm.” Nana waved her arms around frantically once she sees the worried look on her daughter's face. “Don’t you worry. It’s nothing bad. Neither of you are in any trouble.”
Seeing her daughter nod, she continued, “You see some people in the world are born with or get something called a soulmark. And it is that very soulmark that will lead you to your soulmate.”
“What’s a soulmate?” Tsuna asks, climbing onto the couch, Luna following, sitting on her mother’s other side.
“Well legends say that when a soulmarked is born, half of their soul mark is transferred to another person. And that other person is their soulmate, their other half.” Nana explains.
“What happens if the person doesn't find their other half?” Luna asks, cursorily.
This was the one question she dreaded. But Nana knew that she would have to tell her daughter the truth now, or she would find out by some else, or during a mandatory soul class in school. “When you don’t find your soulmate…” Nana paused, not sure how to say it gently, “You feel as if something is missing. As if a part of you is missing.”
“Do you have a soulmate mama?” Tsuna asks.
“Yes I do.” Nana pulls up her sleeve to show her children the mark on her shoulder.
“That isn’t a word. That’s a picture.” Tsuna states, confused.
“Well Tsuna, you see, there are different kinds of soulmarks. Some get words, some get pictures, some even get timmers.” Nana explained.
“Is papa your soulmate mama?” Luna asks.
“No he isn’t honey.” Nana says sadly. No matter how much she USE to love Imestsu, she will always long for her soulmate. And plus, she can not continue to love a man who doesn't have his priorities straight. ‘Honestly. Only if he was around he’d know that I already know everything about his job, his crimes, his bloodline, and the blood that flows through her childrens veins.’
“I see. So you married papa because you couldn't find him.” Luna says, sadly. “Do you think I’ll ever find my soulmate?’ She asks.
But it wasn’t Nana who answered, Tsuna. “I think you’ll find him. I think you’ll find him soon.” The young boy said with complete confidence.
“How do you know that?” Nana asks.
Tsuna tilts his head cutely to the side, “I don’t know. It’s just a feeling.”
