                  Third Person P.O.V.

Bella Elizabeth Carter sat at her desk with her hand obviously raised. She was a rather curious person. Her parent would often tell her curiosity killed the cat. She always replied 'what cat I am allergic you know'.

She wasn't a lady lady with the lace everywhere and the you will be a mother and take care of your children, nothing more. But she did like wearing short dresses and coming home with them all dirty.

She loved exploring the forest in the back of her yard and tumbling down a muddy hill with a few boys from school. None of her friends wanted to do what she wanted to do.

Rolling in filth her friend Mackenzie Simmons said with her nose in the air with the expression you would think she was rolling in dog dung.

She actually might of been the hill is always just brown. They lived in the small peaceful town of Draughton which is weird surrounded by a huge forest.

People called it the "The Drought Children Wood's". Right now Bella was curios on the legend of the forest surrounding their dear quiet town.

Supposedly Jerry Draught was the son of the founder of Draughton, Robert Drought, had too much pressure on him. At the time the Draught family had a huge mansion which sits not in the woods.

Jerry ran into the forest and was never seen again, over time some trees grew around the Draught Mansion.

When the other Draught child Mary Beth came of age to become the mayor of Draughton 13 years after the disappearance of her brother she disappeared also .

People thought she had too much pressure from her parents as well but when Robert and his wife Diana were brutally murdered in their own home people of the town wondered if Mary Beth really ran away.

The story was often told at halloween where kids would try to find the Draught Mansion but were never successful. One halloween Bella had an idea and asked her teacher Mr. Murgle about the story.

"Well it is obviously just a  legend though" Mr. Murgle said.

"How do we know?", my friend Taylor asked.

"Jerry Draught did run away. He had too much pressure from his father but he probably changed his name" Mr. Murgle said.

"Last year Jean Stringer and some friends said they were going to the house and never came back" Taylor said again.

Many people who remembered that murmured yes. Mr. Murgle looked a little worried Bella was suspicious. Her friends often called her Nancy Drew, she loved to read the books in the forest where she had peace and quiet.

People thought she was crazy to go into the forest by herself but she knew how to defend herself and get food if she needed to. She always had a suspicion for trouble in the little town and now she was on the next mystery.

"Jean and her friends were expelled.  You get expelled if you go to the woods on Halloween by the way. Many kids play cruel pranks including Jean they had to leave town since this is the only school here." said Mr. Murgle not so confidently.

"Now we need to go on in our math" he said going back to the blackboard when everyone stayed quiet.

"Don't you think Mr. Murgle looked suspicious when we were talking about the legend and worried when we didn't believe it was fake" Bella said to her friends after school.

"Not everybody is suspicious Nancy Drew" Mackenzie said.

"I think we should go to the forest to find the draught mansion" Bella said confidently facing her three best friends Mackenzie, Taylor and Andromeda.
