Ruby Rose x Werewolf

(Y/n) POV

I started the year at Beacon as a lone wolf, even amongst my own team, I was distant and liked my alone time. That is until a certain red hooded girl, invited me to a game night in team RWBY's dorm along with team JNPR. Initially, I was going to refuse until Ruby gave her signature puppy dog eyes, finally I gave in and agreed to go. Ruby was really excited and gave me a hug and we went our separate ways, I felt something weird when she hugged me though, like I didn't want her to let go. I shake the feeling off and head to a flower shop and grab a rose, then head to a bakery and get a small bag of cookies. I know, weird right, like why am I doing this, I have no idea what is compelling me to do this, but I just go with it for now. I head back to my team dorm and the others are poking fun at me, saying I have a crush on Ruby, whatever that means. Anyways, the time comes to head to team RWBY's dorm, we get there and Ruby answers the door and immediately tackles me into a hug.

Ruby: Oh, I'm so glad you came!

(Y/n): *groans* Yeah sure.

Ruby: *sniffs* What is that wonderful smell?

(Y/n): Um, I got you these cookies and this for you.

I give Ruby the cookie bag and the rose, she then gets all teary eyed and my team are all making hearts at us. I just grumble, but then Ruby gives me a kiss on my cheek and I turn redder than her cape. We all go into the dorm, after I gave my team a beating, and start a game of Monopoly, and as expected I went bankrupt really early in the game. I grumble and sit away from the group and watch the others having fun, while also keeping an eye on the sky.

Ruby POV

I am the next to be knocked out of the game, I sit there and watch the others. I then start stealing glances at (Y/n), which did not go unnoticed by Yang, great. Yang then leans over and whispers to me.

Yang: Go get him, sis.

I blush really hard and look at (Y/n) then back at Yang, she gives me a wink and nudges me. To be honest for a long while now I've had a crush on (Y/n), he's just so mysterious and cool. But he spends most of his time by himself, and that makes me feel sorry for him. I mean he would do anything to protect his friends, but he remains distant from them like he's hiding something. Before I can walk to (Y/n), he excuses himself from the party. At first I look down in sadness, but I want to find out more about him, so I decide to follow him. I follow him for an hour until we come to the Emerald Forest, he then takes off deep into the forest. I try to keep up with him using my semblance, but he is so quick that I lose him and now I myself am lost in the woods.

(Y/n) POV

I am going deep into the woods until the full moon comes out, I then go through the painful process of transforming into my cursed form. My emotions are replaced with nothing but animalistic instinct, and I stand there after my transformation is complete. I then catch a familiar scent on the wind, Ruby, and she's in distress, I race off following her scent. I find Ruby in a desperate fight against a whole lot of Grimm. Without pause I jump onto a Deathstalker and smash it's armor before stabbing it with my claws repeatedly. With the Deathstalker dead, Ruby and I take out the rest of the Grimm horde. Pumped on adrenaline, I turn to Ruby and growl ferociously at her, she readies herself for a fight. I try my best to control myself, but I still find myself rush at Ruby. Thankfully, she dodges and surprisingly stays on defense. I keep on trying to hit Ruby, but she is too quick and soon I become too tired to fight any longer. I try to run but am too tired to do so and as the sun rises, I transform back into my human self and slump to the ground.

Ruby: (Y/n)?!

Ruby POV

I see this beast, it is unlike anything I've ever seen and most definitely not a Grimm. The sun rises and the creature transforms into....

Ruby: (Y/n)?!

I rush to him to see if he's okay, I breath a sigh of relief when I see he is just sleeping. I carry him back to Beacon. I set him down on his bed in his team dorm, I then yawn as I've also been up all night long. Without thinking too hard, I just climb into bed with him and fall asleep.

Rick POV

My team and I are heading back to the dorm to check on (Y/n), considering we were the only ones who knew about his curse. I get to the door and open it, I then see something I did not expect in a hundred years. The others look in from behind me and see what I see, without another word we quietly back out and leave the couple to it.

(Y/n) POV

I am slowly waking up and feel my head pounding, I try to get up but a weight on my chest stops me from getting up. My eyes then focus on the weight and I see Ruby laying there fast asleep. I blush as she herself wakes up too, she opens her silver eyes and looks around. her eyes land on me, then an embarrassed shocked look came over her and she quickly got off me.

Ruby: Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! It's not what you think! I was only tired after what happened last night and you looked so cuddly in your sleep and I got tired and-

I interrupt Ruby by kissing her on the lips, while shocked at first, she eventually melted into it. We stayed like this until the need for air became too much, we pulled away with our foreheads still connected.

(Y/n): I love you, Ruby Rose.

Ruby: *blushes* I love you too, (Y/n).

Just then the dorm door opened and Ruby's team looked in like they were in disbelief, the only word came from Yang.

Yang: Well looks like someone was up late last night. Great job sis!

Ruby: YANG!

With that everyone walked and asked what happened, I had to share the fact that I am a werewolf and surprisingly they were ok with it. Especially Ruby, she had seen my curse in action, and was willing to help in any way. Everyone gets up and leaves, as Ruby leaves, she kisses my cheek and heads for the door, before she does I tell her.

(Y/n): Thank you for having my back, Little Rose.

Ruby: Your welcome, Wolf Pup.

With that Ruby left and I am truly grateful about her loving me, I've just been on my own for so long, I forgot what love felt like. I guess I just needed some rose petals.

(A/N): Cool, another one finished. I guess I've been focusing on Weiss and Blake for so long, I had no really good ideas for Ruby, and Yang for that matter. I guess I just found the others more interesting. Oh well, let me know what you guys think and have a great day. PEACE OUT!!!
