Chapter 3

The true identity ( 진정한 정체성 )

You were standing inside your boss room , who had a sinister smirk on his face which wasn't a good thing in your perspective.

" The spy , how did you kind him ? " V - the short name of your boss , asked you while keeping his gaze on your expressions for any reaction , which mean only one thing - he was suspecting you , even after those 12 years you spend here one thing was clear that your boss wasn't a type of person to trust anybody other than himself.

You kept your expression neutral because you knew , you weren't helping the police but yourself to kill the one who killed your parents with honesty you stated , " When I went to kidnap him in the alley as planned then -

Flashback

" Do you want to become powerful ? "

The guy gave a confused look to you , which was normal for you to encounter now a days . The gang kidnapped people with problems , to join our gang and get their desirable accessories in return , only if they stay loyal to the gang. But rather than kidnapping by force you used the power of words at first , if the people agrees then it's fine otherwise you used force.

The boy fully turned to you and answered , " I want to become powerful. " Without any queries or questions the guy gave in , which made you a little bit surprised - 1st suspicious instinct.

With that he went with you towards the quarters where new kidnapped people were kept for training purposes , while you walked you found the boy was observing things and surroundings a little too much - 2nd suspicious instinct.

Still you weren't confirmed yet , so you still felt like observing the guy. You asked the quarter 's keeper to give the boy a room with a prepared member - who was ready to become a member of our gang , the day didn't even passed yet , you observed the boy whom you kidnapped by CCTV camera settled in every room for security reasons , the boy asked many things from his roommate like - Where is the main headquarters , who is the boss etc. Which almost confirmed your suspicion.

Finally , the next day after the kidnapping [ the time when Jae and Byun were discussing about the kidnapping case ] you asked Jimin to send one of his best spy to get information about the kidnapped boy from the police office , the spy Lisa acted up according her plan and went in order to gain information about the boy but instead she found a file which contained information about the boy , so instead of asking information from the stupid police officer Jae , she stole the file and returned back to Jimin .

When you read the file information there wasn't anything important , only a few basic information which you already had was written , not getting any clue about the boy being a spy. So , you asked Mina - the best pupil of Namjoon , to find information about the boy without Namjoon's interference.

When Mina checked the file two to three times before trying to leak the information about the boy , she found something unusual at the last page of the file - " YPS " Mina informed you about the letter which gave me a solid evidence about the guy being a spy.

End of flashback

" That's how I found out about the spy , boss. " You explained your part and information to your boss who was listening very effectively and giving his full attention towards your observations while observing you himself.

V shifted a little bit before asking another curious question of his , " But YPS or SPY doesn't confirm about his identity . "

" I know boss , that's why Mina was searching for the information about the boy - one thing concluded that his father was dead for a year or so , but in his file their wasn't any information about his late father , it was stated that he have a family member whereas in actual he have nobody , but still I am not sure whether he is a police spy or any professional spy , due to his idiotic acts , which was too oblivious to suspect. " You answered the questions without hesitation which made it clear that you weren't taking any part in this whole spy case .

V smiled and approached your form which was facing him while interrogating , " I knew you couldn't betray me . "

He leaned towards your face while still smiling and took your hair in between his fingers , " Because if you do , you know , what I will do right ? "

This last sentence made you shuddered in real and your emotionless face turned into a little scared one once you remembered his punishment.

" I will not give you those medicines. "

Jeongguk banged his table due to his frustration , he was afraid that the his little mistake could cost a life of an innocent soul without any doubts.

After giving instructions to the police officer Jeongguk found that the file about the kidnapped kid is missing , in which he wrote ' YPS ' or ' SPY ' while reading about the case [ When Jeongguk took the file from Jae and Byun without their consent ]

Jeongguk remembered why Mr Kim , his higher officer asked him to take over this mission -

Flashback

" I not only want you to find about the kidnapping case but also to save an innocent person. " Mr Kim stated while sitting on his chair , with distress all over.

Jeongguk was confused but still patient enough to listen his mentor , " Lee Tae young is the son of Mr Lee Han ji , the best detective officer in Seoul , who died during a mission related to this kidnapping case , it was huge loss for everyone. Tae young only had his father as his family , but after his death Tae young became determined to get revenge for his father. So , he decided to get kidnapped himself to gain information about the gang and I recently came to know about this , due to which I give you the mission to find Lee Tae young alive and safe , even if you fail to find the mastermind behind this kidnapping case. "

End of flashback

Jeongguk massaged his forehead for writing the word SPY and leaving the important file without security , he wrote spy so that he won't forget about the boy , since there were many files related to kidnapping case.

' I have to find Tae young , because even though thousands of criminals run away an innocent person should not be punished for his undone deeds. ' he thought and got ready to save Tae young , who lost his only family to save the city.

I am exhausted due to the confused chapter .

Even I am unable to understand what am I really writing , but everything will be good enough , when this case is solved !

For now pray for the lovely Lee Tae young to get saved by Jeongguk and think about , what was your punishment !
