Kai's POV:

Nothing interesting to do. It was pouring outside so I was stuck with my family. My cousin was over at the time. She always got on my nerves.

"Eri, go annoy someone else." I uttered out as I glared at the white haired girl.

She made a pouty face before storming off most likely to go tell on me. I didn't care though. It was the truth.

I sat down at my desk and peered out the window. The town was bland and boring. Nothing interesting ever happened here.

It's not exactly the best place, but it was better than my old town. I ended up getting a bad reputation there for beating up a kid.

He was a little shit so he deserved it.

A lot of people would say I'm spoiled or some shit like that. Well, they aren't wrong. My parents do everything for me. All I have to do is ask for it and I'll get it.

The last time they didn't buy me what I wanted I ended up having a minor melt down and ended up stepping on our hamster.

We had a funeral for him the next day. He's now buried in our backyard.

You will be missed Hammy.

Yeah, I know. The name sucks. Eri picked it out. I didn't like it but I also didn't really care. It's not like I even wanted a hamster in the first place. They got it for me because they thought I was lonely since I would never hang out with friends.

If I wanted friends then I would already have them.

"Kai! Come down here please!" I heard my father call.

I rolled my eyes as I got up from my desk and stomped out of my room and down the stairs.

"What?" I said in an irritated tone.

"Eri says that you called her annoying. You know you need to be nice to guests." My father spoke in a gently tone.

"Why? It's not like she deserves respect." I uttered back in a harsh tone.

"I do too deserve respect!" Eri butted in.

I turned my head to glare at her. Slowly, I walked closer before leaning down so I was now at eye level with her.

"If you don't shut up I'm going to step on you like Hammy."

She quickly ran over to my father and hid behind him in attempt to find some sort of safety. My father wasn't sure how to respond to my actions so all he did was tell me I wouldn't be able to go outside for the rest of the day.

I wasn't even planning on it.
