walking into the classroom today was weird. everyone was everywhere, and there was no teacher in sight.
"yo kairi," alvaro called over, signaling me to come over to our usual seats.
he pulled out his phone and immediately opened the app store, showing me an app. i read the title and laughed, "what the fuck is that?"
he looked at me, seriousness spreading on his face, "look it's literally legit, basically you make a profile and you get matched with someone and you gotta date em!" i rolled my eyes.
taylor walked over to us, shoving her phone to my face, "kai, we're all gonna sign up, so you too!"
i smacked the phone away, "this is big dumb, why would you guys even wanna try this?"
no one listened, they were too busy filling out their profiles.
i shook my head, "dumb fucks.." i said in a whisper.

at lunch, me, alvaro, and taylor sat at the back tables, they kept trying to insist me to join. i didnt understand the hype.

i honestly couldn't stand the bribing so i finally gave in. i mean, how bad can it really be? i let them fill out my info and get me started. i watched them eagerly fill out the blanks on my phone as i ate my bag of cheetos.

"now you wait." taylor announced as she handed me back my phone. i shrugged and continued to eat. i probably won't even go on that app again.
