It was close to 8:00 am. The Mad Dogs been looking through books for an hour. They found nothing yet.
Raph sighed as he was sitting down and trying to read a book. He couldn't get to the end and closed it. "Found anything, Donnie?" Raph was getting a little impatient.
"Still trying. Try to look for something that's about portals, dreams, and realms. Maybe we'll find something." Donnie stood up for hours looking through some books, trying to find something on how to get out of here.
Raph frowned. He didn't want to lose it here. He wanted to wake up. "Hurry up and find something then." Raph rushes Donnie a little.
To pass time, Sunita and April just read social media on their phones, texting each other some cute gifs and listen to some music. They shared an earphone and stayed next to each other. Sunita was silently humming to some music. Music was her jam. April and Sunita then whispered to each other about their favorite artists and why they love them.
Leo was sitting on a bean bag. He really wasn't helping. He was just too lazy to stand up and look. Leo just read a book that was based off of Jupiter Jim movies. He had a full stack of them right beside them. Not only he has some novels but he had some comics as well beside him. Since this is going to take for hours.
Mikey didn't like reading that much but only comics. He prefers to play but he has to play quietly. Legos and toys were all over robe the ground for him. Mikey looked around with a smile and was about to put his creativity and artsy talent to a test.
Mikey started to build with the Legos. He built a little city and an airplane. Not only that but he made a boat for the bridge to go with the city. Mikey was now struggling with being quiet and making airplane noises with his airplane in his hands. He ran around the city with his little airplane.
Donnie closed his eyes, trying to focus. He was the only one looking for a way out but he's getting distracted with Mikey making this noise. Everyone is suppose to be quiet in the library but Mikey didn't think so. Donnie took a little deep breath and let out a sigh in relief so could block out the noise. "Michael, could you not?" Donnie asked kindly at his brother.
"Sorry!" Mikey lowered his voice and threw his airplane at a large tower and knocked it down. The large tower destroyed the city that was made out of legos. The crash caused a big sound. During the sound Donnie might have found something. His eye did twitched a little from the large sound. He skim through the book and held it up! "This is it!" Donnie's voice was a bit loud so everyone could hear them.
"Huh?" Leo places a book down and now interested since this might be their ticket to go back home.
"I believe I found the book!" Donnie slammed the book on a little table everyone gathered around the table and look at the book.
Donnie looks at a picture. "Okay, guys. We need to draw this diagram and get in the middle of it. Mikey, do you have any chalk?" Donnie asked and looks over at Mikey, leaning over the table.
"Oh, Dee. I take chalk everywhere I go." Mikey took out a piece of chalk and throws it over towards Donnie. "Perfect!" Donnie takes the chalk and draws the diagram on the ground. The picture on the ground was accurate to the digram in the book.
Donnie stood up after drawing the diagram from the book and tossed the piece of chalk over to Mikey. Mikey caught the chalk and puts it up. "Okay. So now what?" Raph said and crossed his arms. "This better work, Donnie."
Donnie places his hands together with a small huff, feeling underestimated. "This will work now all we need to do is get inside and hold hands in a circle. It's really that simple." Donnie spreads his hands out. He held April's hand in one hand and Leo's in the other. "Now take a hand, guys." Leo took Mikey's hand. Mikey held Raph's hand. Raph held Sunita's hand and Sunita and April's hand. They closed their eyes. A light was surrounding them in a circle.
The Mad Dogs felt like they were being picked off the ground. They floated in the air as the light disappeared with them. Everyone woke up and set up.
"Are we still dreaming or are we really home?" Mikey asked curiously. "Hmmm. Let's see." Donnie was about ready to check but he hears Splinter in the hallway coming into the living room. Splinter made it to the entrance of the living room and smiled at his boys.
"Good morning, boys, April, and...?" Splinter didn't really know Sunita.
"I'm Sunita. A friend of April's." Sunita smiled at Splinter and waved. "Sunita. Got it. I see you guys had a good time last night." Splinter was happy to hear and amazed that the place was clean as well.
"Oh, we had lots of fun last night, Pops. You should've joined us." Raph was being kind. But Leo, Donnie, and Mikey looked at Raph with a "Nope." look on their faces. They didn't want Splinter to cramp their style. Leo shook his head. "I'm sorry, my son but I needed some rest. We'll back to training starting Monday morning." Splinter walked out of the rooms.
Leo yawned and stretched his body out. "What a night. We should really do this again sometimes." "I had so much fun with you guys. I hope you guys don't mind me coming over every once in awhile." Donnie hugged Sunita. "You'll always be welcome here. We need friends like you around here."
Sunita was brighten up and hugged Donnie back. "Thanks, guys. I hope we can do this again whenever we're not busy." "Me too." April laid her arm on Sunita's shoulder.
"I think we should clean up." Leo picked up his sleeping bag and puts it away in his room. Donnie, Mikey, and Raph did the same as Leo. April and Sunita puts their sleeping bag in a duffle bag.
Food was also left on the floor. Mikey came running and picking them up. He took the dirty dishes in the kitchen and placed them in the sink. Leo got done with his part and lean back in Splinter's chair and relaxed. "Ahh. What a weekend." He said with a smile.
Raph was helping April and Sunita pack their things so they could go home. "Thanks, Raph." April hugged Raph and took her bag. Sunita took hers and stood next to April. "Tell everyone I'll see them later. I got things to do at home so give me a call." Sunita almost forgot. "Oh. Here's my number if you like to hang out with me more." Sunita gave Raph her number and walked over to the entrance of the lair and waited for April.
"See you guys later!" April catches up to Sunita and left the lair. They went back home for to rest from this awesome weekend.
The turtles were finished cleaning. They gathered in the living room together not knowing what else to do.
"So what do you guys want to do for the rest of the weekend?" Raph asked as he didn't want the rest of the week to be boring.
"How about a marathon of Jupiter Jim movies and act them out?" Leo just being a super fan of Jupiter Jim right and went to hey his costume.
"I'll make some popcorn!" Mikey ran to the kitchen to make some popcorn for the marathon. The turtles spends the rest of their time together and watch Jupiter Jim movies the for the of the weekend.
