I heard the door open and looked up. It was Kai with his clout goggles. "Pucker up, baby." He joked, blowing a kiss. He rested his elbow on the doorframe, and rested his head on his hand from the same arm. I jokingly acted like I caught the kiss. Kai gasped, "so that WASN'T AUTOCORRECT." He laughed . "Mmmaybe, maybe not" I shrugged. God I love him so much. "You're like the only person I can joke around like this with" he laughed. "Joke around like what?" I said shifting to my side facing him. We were facing each other and so close. "Well, like if I jokingly said to Miles 'bro, what if we kissed' and I made it obvious I was joking he would" he sighed, "you know, call it gay and I would have to say it was a joke. Probably would say it's no funny and move on" He looked up at me and spoke a bit softer "but with you, you would add on to the joke" He smiled. "Well," I mean laughed "you are talking to a gay man who's used to being like that with boys." I added on "Plus, imagine having fragile masculinity and stuff like that." I cringed. "Ew." We said in union. We both kinda chuckled. "But what if, we actually kissed?" He said, with his head resting on a finger gun. "I don't what if we?" I asked. "That's why I was asking you.." with the finger gun still under his head, he puckered his lips and jokingly got closer. Then before we literally almost kissed we bursted out laughing. Kai sounded off though, like it was kinda forced or awkward. "Hey you good?" I asked, kind of concerned. "Hmm? Oh yeah, fine. Totally fine." He said looking away from me, his voice was kind of cracking a bit. Was he..crying? "Kai?" I asked. He looked back, he was really red. "Dude you're full on red."I quietly yelled. "No, I'm fine." He responded his voice cracking even more. "Uh, I just realized my parents are coming back home from their business trip today, they might be expecting their son. You know? Okay, bye!" He said, kind of rushed. "Bye.??" I sort of asked. What was that all about?
