I shouldn't have followed him.

Was the first thought that went through my mind after searching V for already 15 minutes.

If you're wondering, why I didn't stay and gaped at the corpse like a fish, then here's the answer. I was already used to this. In kingdoms, there is huge rivality, and parties like these are the perfect opportunity to kill someone. You have a cover, an alibi and can simply poison someone secretly. I have already seen many people who died this way.

Everyone thinks that they can kill someone else like they're a pathetic soul that isn't worth existing. People are cruel and selfish. They don't think about how the family of that person would feel after hearing such news... They just do it, like it's nothing big.

Whatever...It's already been forever since I've started to rummage through the big and empty corridors. Minutes passed, and soon it was an entire hour. I was exhausted and lost. I didn't know where I was and how to get back to the others.

"Hello? ", a deep voice suddenly ripped me out of my thoughts. I flinched and looked around wildly, with the hope to find the owner of the voice.

The voice was deep, but not as deep as Vs. Still, a shiver crawled up my spine at the intimidating voice. The person revealed himself, and I was surprised when I was greeted with Yoongi. The moon shone through the curtains and made his sharp features and jaw glisten underneath it.

"What are you doing here?", I asked questioning. He raised an eyebrow and looked quite amused.

"What are you doing here?", he asked me too. I realized that it was the first time that I heard his voice. Earlier, when we were with the others in the ball room, Yoongi didn't say even one word.

"Uhmm... I-I was  searching for a bathroom, but I kind of got lost? W-What are you doing here?", I excused myself and changed the subject as fast as possible. However, he didn't seem convinced, but he didn't ask further either.

"I was searching my brother. He disappeared right some minutes after the celebration started.", Yoongi said while looking around.

An awkward silence shot through the air.

"Let's go back...", Yoongi finally broke the silence and I just nodded at him. We made our way back to the room, but this time, with a comforting silence in the air.

The guards had alrady gotten rid of the corpse and everyone was engrossed with something else, like nothing ever happened. I looked around to look if V was already back, but there was no trace of him. A sigh escaped my lips and attrackted Yonngis attention. He was some steps away from me, so he just walked over to me until he was infront of me.

I looked at him and he looked back at me. He offered me a gentle smile and I returned his gesture.

"You're not very fond of everything here, are you?", he asked me slightly amused. I just shook my head to indicate a clear no and yawned once. It was already pretty late and sleep was taking over me.

"I think I'll go back home now, thank you for the amazing night.", I smiled at him politely, stood up and was about to walk away, but Yoongi took me by my wrist and turned me around again.

"You're stying here.", he said to me.

"What?", I asked him puzzled.

"I think you already forgot, but were enganged and your father said that you're going to stay here.", he explained to me.

I looked him dead into the eye, then, I sighed and looked down onto the ground. I was ashamed of having such a cruel father. Yoongi noticed my changing mood and looked at me softly. He patted my head and took me by my wrist.

"Come, I'll show you your room.", he said quietly and started to drag my almost dead body through the corridors. After a few minutes, we arrived infront of two large doors, which I assumed were the doors to my room. Yoongi bid me one last goodbye and walked off, to his room.

I turned around again, so that I faced the doors and slowly opened them with a big sigh. After opening the doors, my sight was greeted with a big and luxurious room. My belongigns were already here. I silently walked over and fell with a loud thump on my bed. I turned around and looked at the empty and white ceiling.

The feeling of emprtiness flashed through my mind and tears brimmed in my eyes.

Mom, help me...

I crumpled together like a fetus inside it's mothers womb and cried to myself silently. I imagined how my mother would be here right now, while embracing me with a warm hug, that would give me the feeling of home. With her sweet voice, she would be singing a gentle melodie to calm me down, and she would be combing her slender fingers through my hair softly.

Old memories of her and me flashed through my mind while I was sobbing and choking on my own cries. I felt helpless and lost. I felt like I was incomplete without her. Things got to hard to handle I couldn't carry everything by myself. I felt like I was dead soul that lived inside a living human.

Without me noticing, I was taken over by sleep and carried into a deep slumber, which I hoped I would never wake up from again. Sadly, my eyes opened again and I was greeted with rays of sunshine that tickled my nose. I looked at myself to find myself in the same position like yesterday.

With a disappointed sigh, I stood up and looked around my room. A shiver crawled down my spine, and looked to my left, to find the balkony doors open, although I clearly remember that I kept them close last night.

I walked ovet to them and closed the doors before closing the milky white curtains. With heavy steps, I slumped to the bathroom and opened the door.

My eyes widened and horror washed over me after looking into the bathroom. A blood-curdling scream escaped my lungs. Guards stormed into my room and searched for me, only to find me unconsious in the bathroom. In the bathroom, where the corpse from last night hung. It's limps twisted into inhuman ways, it's eyes out of it's holes and a bloody body. A message was written onto the wall.

A gross 'run' was smeared onto the tiles of the bathroom-wall with blood.
