"Again."

Soon then nine blue beams of light flew at a practice target cutting a clean hole through them all.

"Ok, now go for another sneak attack."

Soon Okita with full rigging on dived under the water to which a second later surfacing behind a large piece of concrete, firing her positron shock canons pulverizing it.

"Ok now begin flight battle."

Soon Okita lifted into the air, as "aggressor" aircraft numbering a hundred flew at her, firing rockets and their guns, which her pulse lasers destroyed most of them.

"Begin bombardment of enemy fleet."

Soon she fired her positron beams down upon the remote boats which acted as abyssal ships, which instantly  exploded.

"Well done, time is 80 seconds," called out Tone as Yamato landed down on the dock.

"Still a little slow," told out Okita.

"Well it's still a great job, anyways get some rest and eat up before being sent on your orbital patrol," told Tone.

"Got Anything," asked a person on radio.

"Nothing, Just the normal signals that we would get," replied Okita.

"Copy, only two minutes left of your monitoring."

With her reveal to the Admiralty and the possibility of alien threat, she was tasked with monitoring space around Earth and with her advanced sensors the outer reaches of the solar system in coordination of JAXA and NASA.

For most of it was pretty boring as all she did to pass the time, was admire the stars, destroy some space junk to atleast keep her skills in space up to par, and orbital strike some spotted abyssals. There was also her, taking a trip to the moon and planting the Japanese Flag, and getting a picture which made the Naval District all more admiring since now the title of the first woman to land on the moon was none other than the Space Battleship Yamato.

"Monitoring shift is done, you can return now, and wait got a message of the location of an enemy fleet heading for a supply convoy, sending coordinates now."

"Roger, coordinates recieved, missile strike out," called out Okita as she fired six missiles as they headed towards the surface.

"Enemy fleet reported gone, you can return now."

"Beginning to descend," told Okita as she begin to fly down back to Earth.

"Ok, I have some time to my self, maybe I should stop by Houshu's bar for a qui-," Okita was telling herself as
she was walking by the small theater she noticed a large gathering of ships, mostly destroyers around a projector screen as Fubuki and co where on a laptop connected to the Projector.

"Okita, you plan on watching your show with them," asked Yamato as she appeared behind her.

"Oh, Okita-san, do you want to watch your show with us," asked Fubuki as all the other ships looked on with glee.

"Sure, I kinda want to see where the admiration for me comes from," she replied sitting down as she joined in watching.

The title card for Space Battleship Yamato 2199 appeared then cut to the Second Battle of Mars which for Okita had some mixed feelings in seeing of the sacrifices made for her wave motion core, to then seeing her crew, Kodai, Yuuki, Captain Okita, Kato, and the others. Then cut to the attempt by a Gamilas carrier destroying her which some of the people meant to be on her dying.

Then her launching sequence which a smile appeared from the memories of her first time flying about.

Then to the third episode which when the opening came in Okita could only try and sing along with a song about her that was probably now her favorite.

Then it cut to her going to Mars, which then fully knowing who the person in charge of the Pluto base was to then her first time going at Warp. Then she crashed on the floating continent to then when she engaged the two Gamilas ships and easily destroying them.

Then came with her firing her wave motion gun which she immediately hided her disappointment in having such a weapon, but knew it what was helped save her home.

"So what do you think," asked Fubuki.

"I loved, though it kinda feels weird watching your life through the lens of of it being a show, even so I more know why you guys have such admiration for me," Okita told which had the rest of the audience smile.

As Okita was sleeping away that soon she awoken to find herself in chair to which then when further looking around she saw herself on her own bridge.

"What the, how am I," I asked out to then looking in front I saw them.

Kodai, Yuki, Yamamoto, Saito, Analyzer, and Okita were before me.

"Everyone," I called out.

"Defend Humanity, Yamato you are what ensures it's Great Harmony to keep on going," told Captain Okita.

"I Promise You All, I Never Fail, As I'm sorry tha-"

"The deaths of those, such as ours weren't the fault of you," reassured Yuki.

"Death will always come, you just have to make that it was not in vain by staying alive," told Kodai.

"Thank you," told Okita wiping a small tear as then the world turned white.

"Captain," called out Okita getting up from her sleep as she looked around to see she was in her bedroom.

"Was it really them," questioned Okita    as she then looked toward the small desk in her room to see there, the Captain's hat, along with a USB drive, and more importantly the core to a wave motion engine.

Two days later

"This is Amazing, literally everything here is shown to the greatest detail to where our expected date of fully having this technology would be cut down dramatically."

"So it litterally just appeared," asked Nagata.

"Yes, I don't know who, but clearly some higher power is involved," told Okita.

"Well I wish we could thank whoever they are," told the Admiral as he looked at the computer screen filled with schematics and blueprints.
