PRUDENCE

HUNTER IN THE LIGHT KINGDOM

It's an emotional chapter for Hunter.

Hunter couldn't believe who he was seeing ,it was THE COLOUR FREAK. (Was his thinking)

"COLOUR FREAK?!", questioned Hunter in a rather mocking tone.  "Excuse you! But my name is not colour freak,dearest Hunty boy.", said Prudence in a whisperous tone rather dead.

"I know but it brightens your dead personality,don't you think?",stated Hunter in a flirtious manner accompanied with a wink.

"Awww! Does the party boy wanna add a colour to the colour freak? Nice try!",was a comeback from Prudence.

Hunter just rolled his eyes, and simultaneously at the same time both looked up from their hiding spots. Hunter saw that his mum was apparently so hooked up with the conversation she was having with the man and infact were holding hands!

He was curious at what the colour girl was hiding for, so he looked at her and drew an imaginary line with his eyes towards the direction she was looking at. And when he saw exactly what she was looking at he couldn't help but erupt into a fit of laughter.

Which grabbed people's attention , cause a potted plant laughing is quite uncommon.

"SHUT UP! OR YOU'LL BLOW OUR COVER",whisper yelled an annoyed Prudence.

"Am sorry...I just couldn't help it,for my eyes must be deceiving me cause I think I saw you spying on Jake Ryder ",he said while wiping away tears of joy.

"I am doing no such thing, am checking out the plants!",protested Prudence but her cheeks were deceiving her as a blush appeared.

Hunter couldn't help but laugh for he noticed ,so he decided to tease her."Does colour freak have a crush on Jake Ryder?"
"NO! Mind your own business Hunty",declared Prudence under gritted teeth.

"Or what ,your gonna blush me away?",dared Hunter still teasing. At that comment she got redder and it only made Hunter want to continue teasing. She gave him a warning look which made him stop and they continued their peeking.

On Hunter's view all was well, but on Prudence's account she just sighed and dusted herself up before walking out.

Hunter didn't get what was the matter until he looked at the sight,as Jake was holding the hand of the girl he was with and staring into her eyes.

He thought to himself that the colour freak indeed needed to be added a colour.

He then finally decided to hide no longer and just walk over to his mum. So he walked over and started with a "Hi! Mum."

"Oh! Hi Hunter," said his mum before drinking water. Until it clicked that her son was there,she spat all the water ."HUNTER?! What are you doing here?!",questioned his mum who already took a napkin and started wiping all the make up she had on her face.

"Nice to see you too,I guess",he replied. His mum laughed nervously at that."Oh! Son ofcourse am happy to see you I was just not expecting you ,that's all ", she stated making eye contact with the man she was with.

"So your Hunter?", questioned the man standing up to give him a hand . As Hunter was about to shake it,his mum interrupted them and turned to the man indicating towards the bar.Why don't you just go get us a new drink?

"Oh ! Really now? I don't think if you bring something unexpectedly NEW , someone would actually accept it." Replied the man.

"All things new would be revealed in due time ",stated Hunter's mother warning the man.
Hunter just stood there dumbfounded. "Very well", replied the man as he went towards the bar.
