In love with a merman..(tom x Matt story)

What is that?

Tom's pov: as always I was heading to the beach with my bright blue swimming trunks and my beach ball, as I head to the beach I see something splashing around in the ocean so I went over there and I took a little peek and you wouldn't believe what I saw...it was...a...merman! Merman? I thought those didn't exist...was I imagining it? So I went over and I asked.. "excuse me?" As soon as he saw me he immediately swam back into the ocean...he must have been scared of me..or he must hasn't seen an human before..anyways I wanted to speak to him or talk to him..but he was too afraid of me..so I gently reach my hand underwater and I say "hey, my name is Tom..I won't hurt you I promise.." as soon as I said that he came back up and he looked at me and he stutters "h-hey..I-I'm Matt..and I-I'm a m-merman..b-but please! d-don't h-hurt me!" I stared at him..I said.. "don't be silly Matt..I wouldn't hurt a fly.." we both stared at each other he had gorgeous orange hair with little of brown freckles he had brown eyes and a purple tail.. so me and Matt talked all day till it was time for me to go..I told Matt that I'd be back tomorrow..and that I'd promise him I'd visit him everyday..so I left the beach and I went home..I couldn't believe that I saw a real life merman..it was so unexpected... but yet..amazing!...
Matt's pov: oh my goodness..I can't believe I just saw a human! A real life human! Should I trust him? Is he dangerous like other humans? Maybe I should make him a gift for the next time I see him..maybe he will like it.. I swam around and I grabbed some seaweed and some sea flowers and I took them and I made a flower crown..I wonder if he will like it..maybe he will...since he seems nice..and that I trust him.. I swam to my underground house and I went to my sea room and i put the crown on my dresser for tomorrow I still wondered if Tom was gonna see me tomorrow what if he was lying? What if he was just lying to me? What if he was pretending to be nice just to capture me and sell me to a lab..
