I was with Brody when Dad walked up to us.
"You were supposed to be there for us tonight. You had a job to do. And now you're trashed." Dad said, mostly to Brody.
"See, I just... I don't understand this, man. If you really think that there's drugs here, call the police."
"And then what? We get a few minnows? The big whale gets away?"
"Do you hear yourself when you talk? I dare you to say one thing without the ocean in it. I dare you."
"We were depending on you tonight. And you fucked up... again." Dad said, making Brody grab a beer as he walks off.
"Watch yourself." Dad said, turning around to be faced with Brody.
"Really? Get this through your head, Mitch. You're not a cop. You're not the fucking Equalizer. You're a lifeguard, Mitch, who sits in his fucking tower all day, cause that's the only place he has any sort of power. This is the real world, Mitch. Lifeguards can't do shit." Dad said, telling Brody to follow him.
"Come on. Let's go, Y/n." Dad said as he grabs Brody's arm.
"Don't you fucking touch me."
"Let's go."
"Or what? What are you gonna do, Mitch?" Brody said as he then ran towards Dad hoping to knock him down but Dad didn't move.
"Shit." Brody said as wiped his mouth.
Dad then jump scared him, making him scream and fall into the pool as I try not to laugh.
"I didn't touch you." Dad said to Brody.
"You dick." Brody said as he finally fell into the pool.
"Cool off, pool boy." Dad said to Brody who was holding up the wine above the water.
"That's him! The Vomit Comet!" A person yells, making me suddenly feel bad for him.
"What are you guys standing around for? Let's do some shots!" Brody yelled as everybody screams.
"Come on, Y/n." Dad said as we both walk off before giving Brody one last look.
NEXT MORNING
I was with Dad when Brody suddenly called Dad's attention.
"Mitch! Hey, man, I think, uh... we both said a few things last night that we didn't mean." Brody said to Dad who had his back turned.
"Not me! I meant every word." Dad said, zipping is a bag.
"Come on, man. You've ever gotten drunk and said something you don't mean? Seriously? I fucked up, man. I know that. I'm sorry." Brody said as he ran his hand through his hair.
"I watched you win 2 gold metals. You were amazing when it was just you. But when it came to the relay, being part of your team, your Olympic team, your family, you blew it." Dad said as Summer walked up to us.
"Cause you're selfish. Baywatch is our team. Baywatch is our family. These are the keys to our house. But you've proven to me that you don't want to be part of this family. So you're done. Cause the only thing you give a shit about is yourself and your medals." Dad said as Brody took out his medal.
"You talking bout this medal?" Brody asked before throwing it 8 feet away from him.
"Wow, that's really impressive. Don't you have two of them, though?" I ask, looking at Brody.
"That's not the point."
"That's polluting." Dad said, nodding his head.
"Listen, Mitch, I know I messed up, okay? I should have listened. I want to be a part of this team. And I will not let you or Y/n down again, I swear. And by the way, I think you're right about Leeds. And the Councilman... Councilman... What's his face? Uh..."
"Councilman Rodriguez."
"Uh... yeah. Rodriguez, that's it. The dead guy. He had this watch. It was a nice TAG watch." Brody said, mentioning the watch that he had on Rodriguez' body.
"Yeah, I've seen that watch, too. On one of Leeds's thugs." Dad said as Brody pointed at him.
"That's it. See? I want to help, man. And I want to... I want to help." Brody said, giving Dad some time to think.
"All right. I'll give you another shot." Dad said, making Brody looked at me as I gave him a smile.
"Councilman Rodriguez is connected to all of this somehow. And the coroner's office just released his body. And I got a plan."
TIME SKIP
We were now getting out of the car and walked inside the Bay Memorial Hospital as Summer held a bag.
"Okay. Come on, it's clear. Let's go." Summer said as she motioned is to follow.
"Okay, left turn, left turn." Brody mumbled, taking a left turn as he drove the cart with Dad under the sheet.
"Who taught you how to drive, Stevie fucking Wonder?" Dad whispered as Brody drive into a corner.
"You're huge, man. Very hard to control."
"Just get me to the morgue. That's all I said."
"I'm taking us to the Morgue. Go left."
"Careful." I told Brody, helping him push the cart.
"Okay, we're good. We're good." Brody said as we stopped.
We then walked through some doors when Brody mumbled something.
"What?"
"What does that say?" Brody asked, pointing to the room name.
"Morgue." Dad said as Brody chuckled.
"Exactly. I got us to the Morgue." Brody said, opening the door for us.
"Nice."
"Good job."
"Yeah."
Summer then closed the door as Dad started to look through the list of names.
He eventually found his body and pulled it out, making Brody groan.
"It smells like yogurt. 2816." Brody said, reading the tag.
Dad then starts to look through some files when he finally found one.
Dad then told Brody to touch his dick as Brody did as he was told.
Dad then took a picture of Brody suffering, making me chuckle as Brody put Hand Sanitizer.
They then start to talk about his purpose of death when we found out it was murder.
Just then, Summer started to panic.
"Shit. Someone is coming. Hide." Summer said as we all scattered around the place to find someplace to hide.
"Now what?"
"We hide."
"Hide? Where?"
