One night, Raven was awakened from the noise she heard. Damian was asleep beside her and didn't seem to be awake. She saw writings on the wall that was written in pure fire.

She was scared, she woke Damian up and when he saw the troubled face , he asked her what was wrong. She showed him the wall with the writing and she hugged him tightly. He knew that this was Slade's work. He knew that something doesn't smell right but he told her that it was alright and she needed to get some sleep. He wrapped his arms around to give her the feeling that she is safe. Then, they both fell asleep.
The next morning, Dick and Starfire were ready to surprise Raven for her birthday. They walked toward until they heard a blood-curdling scream. When they open the door, they were shocked to see Slade taking Raven with him and leaving Damian, who is badly injured, on the ground like a lifeless corpse. Starfire blasted lasers and flew as fast as she could to retrieve Raven from Slade but it was too late. The airship blasted to space before she even got there.
Damian was devastated. He doesn't know what to do, he was clueless and that's when he heard Garfield laughing so hard in his room "Your plan was awesome, did you see the look on his face when she was taken? Yeah I know right. I could look at that all day." It turned out that it was Garfield , who was telling Slade , every single move they make to him through Blackfire. He recorded the conversation in cell phone and use it as evidence to confront him later. When all of them were in the living room, he thought that this would be the right time to spill the beans about Garfield's atrocity working with Slade. He showed them the evidence as Garfield was denying throughout the argument until the recorded piece was played. "What the hell is your problem? First, You tried to steal my girl and now you were the support in her abduction!" he yelled at him. Dick warned him before that if he hurts anyone physically or mentally, he will be kicked out of the team. Therefore, he did both, so he is officially out of the team.
