My eyes became watery. I thought I would not get to celebrate my birthday this year. After Mom left, we never celebrated our birthday. Mom always managed to make me a cake, no matter what the consequences. After she left, dad never celebrated my birthday. Then I got the job at K-pop daily and met Min Hyuk and Lee Min hae, my two best friends at the job. Ever since then, they would always celebrate my birthday.
