I woke up the next morning on Tracy's couch.
"Morning sunshine." Tracy smiled waving a plate of blueberry muffins in my face. She plopped onto the couch sitting on my legs.
"Did I stay here? I don't even remember falling asleep." I rubbed my eyes and yawned a little.
"I was too tired to take you home. Soon as we got here you laid on the couch and fell right to sleep. I stayed up watching scary movies all alone. Did you also forget Ray Ray is your boooyfriend?"
"Now that I will not forget! Speaking of that I never told Ruth. She must still hate me. Ima call her." I took a muffin then left out to the back porch.
'You reached Ruth sorry I'm not here right now. Please leave a mesage & I will get back to you.' Beeep!
Ugh. Voicemail! I called three more times and she finally picked up.
"Your not going to give up huh? This better be important."
"Me and Ray Ray are official! We talked last night. I got to him before they left back home."
"Great. Me & Prodigy didnt last or have sex. Happy now? Thanks for bragging. But I'm happy for you. Look I gotta go."
Ruth hung up.
Why is she so mad at me? She's the one who told me I should start dating now. Since I never had a boyfriend or even cared for boys. Until now. I mean sure we all couldn't date a Mindless Behavior. Its not fairytale world.
This is not happening. I must be dreaming, There is absolutely no way I am dating a celebrity. One of the cutest at that. The guy that every girl dreams of. Yeah, I should wake up anytime now.
My phone went off & across it read Ray Ray. Omg this wasnt a dream after all. I am really dating him. I have a boyfriend from the hottest group alive. Even my best friend is jealous. Wow.
"Hi!" I squealed not trying to sound too excited.
"Good morning. I'm off to my world tour. Might not get to talk to you for a few days just hada hear your voice. I miss you."
"I miss you too. Good luck baby. I know your going to blow all your fans away. I'll be rooting for you!"
"Great. Thanks. Love you. I gotta go."
I went back in the house grinning like a little kid was ready for their Christmas, and wanted to open presents.
I know that look. You must of talked to Ray Ray huh?" Tracy laughed rolling her eyes.
"Yeah he said he was going on his world tour. I miss him so much already."
"Boo-hoo! Roc Royal didn't even say goodbye to me. You better be lucky you got Ray Ray as your man! Your definetly the luckiest girl alive! Don't go around bragging though."
"Ugh why do you and Ruth keep saying that? Nobody is bragging. Its just that he's my first boyfriend and he's a celebrity at that. I'm happy. Can't you be for me?"
"I am happy. But Ruth is your best friend. I'm your cousin. Family comes first. If Ruth is still mad at you for yesterday, you should make it up to her. You know me. I dont have feelings. If Roc wants me he'll come back."
"Yeah I know your heartless. Drop me off at Ruth's?"
"Sure. I gotta date later on anyway. Don't need you to be here."
"With who?"
"This guy Daniel. He is so hot! We used to go to high school together. He always had girlfriends. But he called me told me he was single & asked me to dinner."
"Lucky you. Hope you have fun."
"Why thank you little one." Tracy grabbed her coat, and we left outside.
We got into her car and she dropped me off in front of Ruth's.
"Get home safe. Love ya kiddo!" Tracy sped off down the road.
I went up to Ruth's front door and began to knock.
"Who is-" Ruth stopped in mid sentence as she opened her door. "What do you want?"
"Ruth come on. Let me come inside."
"Fine." Ruth opened her door all the way, and I went inside.
I followed her up the stairs to her room. Her parents must of not been home, since their room was open and it never is.
"Ruth I'm sorry"
"Mel I'm sorry"
We both said at the exact same time. Whoa that was weird. But why was she apologizing?
"I been acting like a jealous idiot. Honestly, I'm happy for you & Ray. I hate fighting with you. Those words you said to me were just hurtful."
"I know and I'm sorry. Forgive me?"
"Of course big head. Now gimme a hug." Ruth pulled me into a close tight hug, swinging me around.
Her phone went off.
"Hey who is this?" Ruth asked.
"Yo yo baby girl. It's Prodigy." A sweet raspy voice said on the other end.
Ruth had the biggest grin on her face. I knew right away that it had to be a guy. Probably Prodigy. Well I'm hoping.
"Ohmygod. I didn't think you would ever call me. I've been thinking about you every single day!" Ruth admitted.
It was Prodigy. Definitely.
"I'm back in town for a couple days. I need to see you. Ray Ray came along too. Meet us in a hour? I'll text you the address. Later sweetie."
Ruth hung up her phone then tuned to me. Giving me this 'I've got the greatest news' look.
"Tell me!" I was getting so impatient.
"The boys are back. But only for a couple days. Well just Prodigy and Ray Ray." Ruth's phone went off.
The details to where to meet the boys. At a beach house. Of course it was a party.
"Get up. I have to find us the perfect outfits. We have to stand out. Ooh and let's invite Dana & Cami." Ruth grabbed my hand pushing me towards her closet.
I spotted a light blue dress and picked that one. She chose her lilac dress. We both wanted to wear our matching black boots with hills at the bottom. That meant I had to go home and get mine. I needed my straightener anyway. My hair looked a mess still.
After we both got all dolled up we met with our friends at Dana's house. Then we were on our way!
I can't wait to see Ray Ray again.
