A Vampire and A Bad Girl with Secrets? Not Good

Chapter 1: Introductions

Ash's POV

Blondie kept talking about well crap. That is until she cut her sentence short. I looked over at her, wondering what had caused it. But she was staring at something from across the school yard. I looked over to see some more students enter but in a group. So? I looked over my shoulder at my little brother Damon and our cousins Easton, Flare and Lyn to see if they knew. They shrugged looking confused too.

Damon and me were opposites. He had dark blond hair and cat-like green eyes, while I had dark brown hair and ice blue eyes. Though we are both pale but really that's because of what we are. Vampires.

Damon is only one year younger and is shy, caring and actually gave a damn about human's feelings. I on the other had doesn't. Im out-going, loud and merciless. Clear to say he's a vegetarian and im not. Im a true vampire, just like dad. Damon's got too much mum in him. Stupid Mummy's boy. Don't get me wrong I don't hate him but I don't adore him either. Would it hurt to let his true nature take over for once?

Easton. He has light blond almost golden hair and light green eyes. He's the funny, care-free type. He's not as merciless as me but that doesn't mean he's a human lover, he's in between. He's been my best friend since I can remember. Which isn't long to vampire's. My family the Ferns are pure bloods. Which means we're born vampires, we are also the most powerful and feared. Well almost. Our family and the Trest family have been competing against each other for power for centauries.

Flare and Lyn are twins. They're older than me by one year and also Easton's sisters. They both have light walnut brown hair. But it's their eyes that told them apart. Lyn has the light green eyes like Easton and wears a pair of brown framed glasses due to a seeing disability since birth but Flare has hazel-yellow. Their personalities are a bit different too. Lyn's quiet and laid-back, also very smart while Flare always has heaps of energy, doesn't know when to stop chatting but she's also very smart like her sister. They are just Like Easton when it comes to humans but I think that they're leaning towards becoming vegetarians like Damon at the moment.

But right now they all, Damon, Easton, Twins and most likely me were wearing the same expression. Confusion and also a bit of curiosity.

I looked back at the Blondie who by the way would be the perfect lunch for me was still staring at the newcomer's. By now the newcomers had resigned to a picnic table beside a tree and were all laughing and smiling away. But there was one that really caught my eye.

Her light brown hair was sitting at the middle of her back while her jade green eyes sharp, but playful. She was dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans which hugged her curves perfectly while she wore white top with some design and a black leather jacket just reaching her waist while the arms were pushed up to her elbows. She's hot I will admit but she's also human. Vampire's and human's don't mix.

I decided to ask Blondie about them since she wasn't going to 'just' tell us.

"Blondie?" she turned towards me with a surprised look on her face which was wiped away by a scowl.
