(Felix's POV)
I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. Worried, I tap my thumb against my chest. I cock my head to the right to look at the alarm. 2:31 AM. I sigh and turn my head back.
Marzia really scared me. I am so worried about her, because I love her.
I look at Marzia, her eyes shut lightly, calm but still damp from crying and sweating. I lightly brush the hair from her face, trying not to wake her.
I mean, I know people have nightmares sometimes, but when she gets nightmares, they're horrifying. But, she has never been like this before. It's usually a tap on my shoulder, or hugging my closely, but this one must have really scared her. I'm in love with her, and I want her to not be scared or hurt.
I then remember the first time I met her. Running to her at the fountain, her cold body hugging me tightly. Or the time we kissed. The adrenaline rushing through my veins, my dreams all coming true at once. The thought of these made me want to snuggle with her and hold her, but I just placed my fingertips on her sides and felt her breaths.

In...

Out...

In...

Out...

In...

Out...

To calm my nerves, I attempt to match my breaths to her breaths, and after trying extremely hard, I am finally calm. I close my eyes, watching her face go away, and I'm in darkness. I finally fall asleep, sitting in darkness.

(Marzia's POV)
The next morning, I rise slowly, aching and and my face stretchy and and dry. I stretch, blankly glancing around the room. Felix is already out of bed, so I put on some PJ pants, tucking it under Felix's old shirt. I flop around to the kitchen of our new apartment. It's in Sweden, and it's very small and cheap. Since Felix and I don't have much money, we only could afford this hunk-of-junk. Hey, at least we have a roof over our head, right?
"Marzia, you're up." Felix says, looking up from the laptop.
"Yeah, what time is it?" I ask, looking around for a clock."
"Um... Oh, it's 1:00PM." He says.
"1:00?! Why didn't you wake me?" I snap.
"Um, don't you remember your little "nightmare"? Plus, I tried to wake you up. You just rolled over!" He yelled.
"Wow, okay!" I yell back, crossing my arms.
"Well, this is quite a great morning, isn't it?" He mumbles.
"It's would be even better if I was up earlier!" I snap.
"Yeah, so much better. You'd be worse than you already are." He says.
"Shut up Felix!"
"Do the world a favor and you shut up!" He yells, face flourished red.
I stare blankly at him.
"Hey, I didn't -" He reaches for me.
"Really? I'm that annoying to you?" I ask.
"No, no. I was just upset, I didn't mean it."
"Oh..." He looks into my eyes, and hugs me.
"I'm sorry." He says into my shoulder.
"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you."
"Yeah, that was mean. You should be sorry."
I laugh and punch him in the shoulder.
He laughs too, and lifts me into the air. He kisses me, holding me close to his body. I touch his cheek with my fingertips, his hands wrapped around my back and legs.
"Oh, yeah," I say, pulling away.
"Are you hungry?"
"Yeah, but I have a place where we can go. Get dressed, and I'll surprise you." He replies.
"Ooh, I like surprises. Okay, one sec."
I walk into the bedroom, and slip on denim mom jeans, a white blouse with a black Peter Pan collar, and black creepers (which I got this all on sale on Black Friday for $40 on my favorite shop). Running to the bathroom, I quickly brush my teeth, wash my face, slap on my makeup, and brush and curl my hair. Walking into the kitchen I slip on my light leather jacket with buttons (perfect for spring) and black sun hat.
"Gorgeous, it you'll look even better with this blindfold on." Felix says, finally dressed with a gray shirt with one aqua-blue pocket in his chest, khaki shorts, denim coat, and his Vans.
"What?" I laugh. He ties the blindfold around my eyes, and I stand there only seeing red.
"Okay, let's go."
