Jennie awoke with unbearable pain. Even though the pain reliever helped, it was still there.
Jennie clutched her stomach and released some whimpers which caught Lisa's ears.
"What's wrong Bebe?" Lisa woke from her sleep.
She rubbed Jennie's back up and down.
"The pain reliever is not working." Jennie whispered.
"Hmm? Pain reliever for what?" Lisa lifted herself up to her a better view of Jennie.
Lisa furrowed her eyebrows seeing Jennie vulnerable.
Lisa saw a glimpse of Jennie's bottom and saw a red stain.
"Why don't you get ready for a bath? I'll make you some great green tea," Lisa suggested.
"I don't want. I feel like I can barely walk." Jennie whispered in her baby voice.
"Deuk, your sweats are stained." Lisa massaged Jennie's waist.
"It is?" Jennie whined. "Hmph."
Lisa couldn't help but laugh at the cute gesture.
"Don't laugh at my pain."
"I'm not laughing at your pain, Darling."
"Then don't laugh because I hate the sound of your voice."
"You didn't hate it this morning."
"Hmmmm." Jennie whined some more.
"Let me clean your bottom half then, if you don't want a bath."
"Okay." Jennie opened her arms.
Lisa brought Jennie's arms over her shoulder and carried her to the bathroom.
She opened the cabinet to get overnight pads and a fresh pair of emergency underwear.
Jennie took off her sweats and underwear along with her useless tampon and sat in the cold tub.
Lisa detached the shower head from the wall and turned on the water. She let it run for a couple seconds to test it.
"Lift up your shirt, Jen."
Jennie exhaled loudly; nonetheless, she did what Lisa asked.
Lisa sprayed the water where blood stains are on Jennie.
"Hmm, that feels good."
"Oh c'mon, Jen, don't say that now."
"You always told me if something feels good I should tell you."
Lisa sighed and brought the shower head behind Jennie to clean her back side.
"You're right," Lisa kissed Jennie's forehead.
She turned off the water and handed Jennie a towel to dry off.
"I'm always right." Jennie patted herself dry and put on her pad and underwear.
She reached for Lisa's hand and dragged her to the bed.
"You're not going to put on pajamas? Or at least sweats? You gotta stay warm."
"I doonnn't waaannt tooo." Jennie whined.
"I'm gonna go make you a cup of green tea to warm you up."
"No, you can warm me up."
"Bebe you need—"
