(Sorry I haven't updated, a lot has been going on. Please enjoy part 2.
Edit : please read the explanation at the end! Thank you!)It was that feeling.
After getting so close to someone, loving them unconditionally, and knowing they feel the same exact way towards you. You could tell them anything, whenever and wherever, they would listen. They would be there. You're so comfortable with them around, knowing they care and that they have your back.
You were holding his hand tightly walking through the park, till he stopped abruptly.
You look up from the ground and meet your eyes with his.
He looked into your eyes as if he was looking straight into your soul, then he smiled.
"What?" You said with a small smile displayed on your face.
"You're so beautiful." He said. You can hear the emotion laced with his words.
You nudge his arm a bit and become flustered.
"Oh, stop!" You say shyly, hiding your face in his arm.
He gently pulled you into his warm embrace and kissed your forehead.
"I'm not going anywhere. I will be here till the end."
This man always knows how to make you melt. The only person who has ever made you feel this special, is him.
You stood on your tip toes and kissed him. The passion you had for each other, you felt that. Not just this kiss, but all the kisses. Each one slightly more passionate and loving than the last. Whether it was a long and steamy kiss, or just a peck on the lips or cheek. The spark was just there.
You were at home. He is your home. He has your heart and love, and you had his.
No one can take that away from you. He's yours and you're his.~~~
Your eyes watered at the memory.
You turn the picture frame face down so you don't have to look at it anymore. The same photo you took on that day. That was the day you knew that he was the one. Way before he even proposed to you, you realized you wanted to spend your life with him.
You look at the computer screen. Your mind was blank.
Ever since you woke up this morning you couldn't think straight.
All your appointments were hard to get through as well.
The client would start venting to you about how rough their day was going, and your mind would wander off.
You would occasionally nod your head to let them know you still heard what they were saying, but your head was still elsewhere. Whenever you started to focus, it popped into your head again.
Standing outside the door, the sound of their love making repeated in your head. Then your heart just sank all over again.
Your stomach clenched at the thought, and you still had at least two hours left. All you have to do is get through these last two appointments, and then you're done.
"You can do this Y/N, no big deal. Just focus."
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath. You had work to do. It was going to be a long two hours.
You looked at the clock on the wall, then called in your next patient before you both took a seat.
"Two more hours, you got this."
~~~
You arrived home around 9PM and opened the door to a dark house.
"Hello? Kook?" You called out, but got no reply.
