Friday : 11am *Nobody's PoV*
Miko and Five were lounging around in the Glitch Techs Headquarters when Zahra and Haneesh walked up to them. "Hey guys!" Miko shouted and they smiled. "Yo Miko..." Zahra said, giving Miko a high five. Haneesh fist pumped with Five.
"You guys know about the Valentines Event?" Haneesh asked. Zahra just shrugged her shoulders, tapping away at her phone. "I mean, I have but it's not like I got a date!" Miko made a 'pssssh' sound, trying to act like it didn't bother her.
Luckily she didn't notice the blush appear on Five's face. "Well, we'll see you guys there if your going, now we gotta go get some glitches" They both geared up and ran off. "Come on Fiivvee, we have to get out there!" Miko groaned, throwing her arms around Five's shoulders.
Five stiffened up, "Y-Yeah. Let me g-go grab Phil" He stuttered and jogged off to get Phil. Miko just tilted her head, "What's up with him?" She pouted, kicking the floor a bit. "Looks like we got a small glitch in the park, in that direction" Phil said, that same bored tone in his voice.
Miko walked over to the two, standing next to Five, who just blushed and looked towards the map. "We're on it Phil!" Miko yelled, grabbing Five's hand and rushing to get in the car. They stopped by the car, with Five almost falling over with dizziness, "You didn't have to drag me that hard" His voice wavered and Miko laughed, shoving him in the car.
The drive to the park was one of silence, Miko looked over at Five but something was bugging him and Miko wanted to find out. She had a suspicious clue that it was about that girl he was talking about at the Fast Food restaurant.
Soon enough, they were at the park, luckily it was still a work day and so it was mainly empty. Quickly, they got all their gear on and searched for the glitch. "C'mere glitchy, we aint gunna hurt you.." Five cooed, trying to lure in the glitch. "Yeah that's a lie we're going to kick your butt" Miko responded excitedly, throwing her fist in the air.
"Mikoooo, stealth!" Five rolled his eyes as Miko's mouth turned into an 'o'. Soon enough a small dog appeared, "Awww it's a puppy" Miko said, her eyes going all 'starry'. "Miko, I don't think that's a-" The dog's mouth opened wide to show all of it's huge teeth. "RRRUUUNNN!" Five shouted, grabbing Miko's hand and bolting it in the other direction.
"HOW CAN A WITTLE PUPPY BE SUCH A NASTY MONSTER!" Miko yelled, they were both hid behind a tree, catching their breathe. "Maybe because its a GLITCH" Five put his arms up, "Touché my friend, Touché..." Miko looked behind the tree to see the dog sniffing around for them.
"Okay, I say we-" Five started but Miko just got her gauntlet on full power and jumped out behind the tree, "YEEEEEHHAAWWW!" She launched herself in the direction of the dog, "STAY STILL PUPPY!" She yelled, shooting at the dog in different directions, missing every time. "She never listens...does she?" Five asked no-one in particular, then ran out to be by her side.
"Assuming it's still has dog-like characteristics, I say we get something that it'll like to distract it" Five exclaimed and Miko grinned, "Good idea, partner!" She yelled, then ran to the car to get something. Whilst Five was shooting at the dog, she came back with a large stick. "WOAH, Where'd you get that from?" Five asked, eyes wide.
"Dunno, found it on the floor" She shrugged and then started waving it around madly. "Look at this STICK, isn't so erm...TASTY!?" Miko was making baby noises and dog ran straight for her, "AHHH!" Miko ran as fast as she could, the dog looked like it was about to eat her, even if it was going after the stick. "H-Hang on Miko!" Five shouted, trying to get his gauntlet in the right position.
"ANYTIME TODAY FIVE!" She cried out, the dog was hot on her trail, barking away. "Annnd, SHOOT!" Five took his aim and it struck the dog right in the back. "Phew, thought I was a dog meat for a second" She wiped none-existent sweat of her head and collected the glitch that was trying to slither away.
"Sorry for making you bait Miko" Five said, walking over with an arm on his neck. "Ay, no problem...guess I kind of deserved it for- for not listening to you" She replied sheepishly and Five chuckled. "Come on...I think we might get to spend the rest of the day playing the Hinobi games!" Five shouted excitedly and Miko wrapped her arm around him.
"ONWARDS TO VICTORY!" They both chuckled. As they were walking to the car, Miko noticed the faint blush on Five's face. 'Is he blushing...because of me?' She thought, 'Well duh Miko, the dog obviously didn't make him blush' Miko rolled her eyes at the voice in her head.
*The end of the day*
Miko and Five walked out of the store, tired from the day of hard work (yeah thats a lie, they spent most of the time playing video games XD). "So are you-erm. Coming to the dance tonight?" Five asked, blushing. "Wouldn't let you be on your own, unless you...got a date?" Miko replied, looking down a bit, she wanted to be Five's date.
"I-I don't have a date...but-" Five was stopped by the ringing of Miko's phone, "Yes Mom?" She answered it. "Okay, I'll be home in a second" The phone ended and Miko sighed, "Sorry Pal, I gotta bounce to my house, mom wants me to help make some cakes before the event tonight" Five just looked at his feet and then smiled back up at her.
"Yeah t-thats erm. Fine! I'll see you there..." Five stuttered out and Miko started walking the other way. When she was out of hearing range Five banged his head against a pole, "Stupid...stupid! Oh my god Five your so stupid!" He scolded himself and then walked off in the other direction with his hands in his pockets.
"Plan B it is..." He whispered to himself, a determined grin on his face.
A/N: I am SOOO SORRY I took so long to post this chapter! I know this isn't an excuse but basically, I only realised about a week ago that She-ra season 5 had came out and I started panicking. I literally couldn't focus on anything other than finishing She-ra and OH MY GOD I CRIED! I'm not spoiling anything but WATCH IT AHHH!
Also how would you feel if after this is finished I did either catradora oneshots or a catradora story, you guys can choose.
But I still have to finish this masterpiece! I'm so happy that I'm at 300 views it is UNREEAAALL! You guys are the best as well! All the comments I'm receiving are so positive and I'm grateful for every single one of them!
