first day

i was a new student.
the moment i walked into the classroom,
out of all the students, you caught my eye.

you were so different.
i wanted to be your friend but you were too caught up on others.

everyday i tried to catch your attention.
no response.
i tried for 5 months but then i gave up.

there are 20 boys in the class.
why be caught up with one who couldnt even notice you?

that's when you got erased in my mind.

i wish it stayed like that.
but i still continued months later.
