"So G, would you rather have buck teeth or no teeth?" Genevieve asked her twin sister Genna. "I think I would have to go with buck teeth Gen, I could always get braces but if I had no teeth I could only eat mashed up bananas and baby food, gross!" Genna replied. It was 10 o'clock at night but the identical twins were too excited to sleep, tomorrow was the first day at their new school. "Girls, get to sleep, you've got a big day ahead of you," they were told by their mother, Anna, as she opened the bedroom door to find them chatting away. "Fine," they both grumbled. So they snuggled down in their beds and lay there for a few minutes, waiting to hear their father snoring. Once the house started to shake with the tremendous noise, Genna whispered "Let's go Gen," to Genevieve as she hopped out of bed. "Coming," Genevieve whispered her reply. They both walked over to the bedroom window, Genna attached the rope to its hook beneath the window sill while Genevieve unwound it and threw it out their two story bedroom window. Genevieve climbed down the rope followed by Genna. Once they had safely got to the bottom, they started to run north across the huge paddock, heading for the bush. They ran on tiptoes side by side for a few minutes in their pyjamas and then they entered the bush. They made sure not to stand on any twigs so as they wouldn't wake the dingoes. 100 metres into the forest they spotted the huge tree in which they had made a hut out of branches and leaves. They helped each other up into the big eucalyptus tree and then settled down to sleep under the blanket they had made from leaves. This was what they did every night, after all it was much nicer sleeping outside in a tree listening to frogs croaking and splashing in the pond than sleeping inside in beds which were hard as rock as the room was pounded at by the loudest snoring they had ever heard!

Authors note: I have like 40 more pages to type of this - so be patient. Read my other stories while you wait - thanks. Please comment vote and share and I'll answer any questions and read each comment. I'm new on here and only 15 so any ideas on how to get known on this site would be great. Merci!
