where's Iris?

*flashback*

Jack opens the door to their shared house and sees the TV on the living room turned on.

He walks in and sees a sleeping Iris with her head on the crook of an also sleeping Zach.

The curly head takes a picture of them and carefully picks up the little girl.

"Daddy?"

"Yes princess, daddy's gonna take you to bed, you fell asleep on the couch with dadda."

"Okay."Jack lays her down on the bed and tucks her in.

" Goodnight mama, I love you so very much."

"Goodnight daddy, love you too." Jack pecks her forehead and goes back to the living room.

He picked Zach up and took him to their room.

"Baby? Where's Iris?"

"She's already in bed, I took care of everything gorgeous." Jack lays him in bed carefully.

"She had a nightmare, that's why she was in the living room with me."

As if on cue the little girl appears with Zach's childhood teddy bear, Chubs.

Jack picks her up and lays her in the middle of them.

"Sorry angel, I didn't know you had a nightmare."

"It's okay daddy." She snuggles on Zach.

The curly head quickly puts on his pajamas and lays with them.

"Goodnight babies."

But they didn't answer, they had fallen asleep already.

Jack sighs happily and falls asleep with a smile on his face.

*end of flashback*

Zach and Jack numbly wake up and put on clothes.

It had been two weeks since her disappearing.

They go downstairs and prepare breakfast for them and Christina.

"Good morning." The woman greets quietly.

They greet her back lifelessly.

She turns on the TV only to see Iris', Jack's and Zach's faces all over the news. She turns it back off.

Christina closes her eyes.

It's been two weeks. They're in pain. They barely talk and there's no evidences.

She furrows her eyebrows.

"That's it! Evidences! Where's the office where you guys wrote the evidences you had?"

"Down the hallway." Zach furrows his eyebrows.

Christina runs to the room and the guys follow her.

She looks at the board closely and Jack gasps.

"The adoption papers! We never checked it out-"

"Because we were distracted with the wires! Oh Jack, you're a genius!"

"It's was a fucking set up. God I'm so stupid." She pulls on her hair.

"Hey, it's okay Teena. We forgot about it too." Jack hugs her.

"I'm a private detective and I'm doing  a terrible job."

"No you're not sweetie! You've helped us so much." Zach gets in the hug too.
