My name is Liz, short for Lizbeth.

This is the story of how I met my friends.

It all started on a school day. I had decided to skip class and went to the bathroom. I didn't sleep much last night so I stood in front of the sinks and slashed water on my face. I looked at my self through the mirror. There were purple bags under my eyes. My brunette hair looked fine and so did my black and white school uniform. But my face was a mess.

This morning I was rushing to get ready. I didn't have time to put makeup on, so I couldn't cover the purple under my eyes and my hazel eyes stood out like a light bulb in a dark room.

My face was an obvious give away that I was tired. My eyes were smaller, I had purple bags, no makeup, and a lot more.

I walk out of the bathroom and go to the library up stairs. I sit down by a large window in the back that shows the front of the school.

I watch people walking in front of the school. I see a woman and a man walking to inside the school. I didn't know who they are so I leave them alone. Although, that was a mistake.

I should have known better than to leave it alone.

It's not every day strangers walk straight into a private school. I have never seen them nor did they look somewhat familiar.

I hear multiple screams downstairs. Mostly female.

"What was that?" people ask. I stand up and walk downstairs. I thought it was just a prank since people are fond of doing those.

It wasn't.

There were 3 people dead, lying on the ground. All I saw were bite marks. What happened? Biting someone can't kill them. Did they all have heart attacks?

I look at the man and woman from before. They had an oddly death-like skin color. I got chills just from looking at them. They had bite marks on they're legs and arms.

I looked around to see if anyone else were here but no one was. Either I'm hallucinating or no one else heard the screams.

The 3 dead people's hands start moving. Impossible.

The man quickly ran over to me so he was centimeters from me. He grabbed my wrists and moved in to bite my left arm.

I struggled to get free but the man- no not man. He's inhuman. His strength proved it. He was impossibly strong.

The man fell over when a pipe hit him in the head. Someone had hit him with in. His grip left my wrists and I was left unharmed.

I look at the person who hit -and probably killed- him. I also saw the woman and 3 dead people were lying on the ground and weren't moving at all.

The person who hit them was a boy. He was about my age but I've never seen him. He's wearing a red t-shirt, a black leather jacket, black jeans, and combat boots. He's defiantly not from this school.

His brown eyes looked me up and down. He didn't even ask if I was alright. The nerve.

His eyes made him look bored. His messy brown hair made him look as though he were foolish. His eyes don't agree with his hair very much.

"Let's go. More will be coming" he says. More?

He turns around and I grab his arm. "Who are you?" I ask.

He yanks him arm away. "My name is Trystan" He says, "Don't touch me".

He's friendly.

"If I can't touch you then why did you tell me 'lets go'" I ask. "Do you want to live or not?' He asks.
