A date with Markiplier

Mark's pov

Today me, Kathryn, Tyler and Ethan were planning things for ADWM so that next week we would be ready to film, we needed to make sure everything was perfect cause we have a limited amount of time to film in the place we have chosen.

Everyone has a set task and so far no one has messed anything up and all is running smoothly. Ethan is finding a producer/videographer to help with filming and story line, Kathryn is making sure all equipment is ready, Tyler is making sure the venue is booked and ready with all the things we need and I'm talking with the team that are behind the scenes and making sure they know what they are doing.

We had been sitting at the office waiting for hours for Ethan to find the perfect producer/videographer. He wanted the person to tick every box we needed and he wasn't going to give up till he found that person.

I've seen many people that would be legible but Ethan didn't approve so I gave up and left him to it, I just sat at my computer and looked at random things on the Internet.

After a solid 3 hours of looking Ethan found who he thought fits our needs perfectly, a blond haired woman with 5 years of experience, done many different projects from TV documentaries to small YouTube skits.

She sounded pretty professional so I called up the company and asked if she is free for this week and next week and they said we can have her for as long as we need which was perfect for us incase we ran a little over time.

I arranged a meeting with her tomorrow at my apartment  and got given her number and email so I could contact her and give her my address. As soon as the call was ended I did just that and told her to turn up whenever because I'm free all day.

I made sure Kathryn, Ethan and Tyler were free all day too and made sure we had plenty of snacks and drinks so we could chill all day and wait for Amy.

Amy's pov

I had just been informed that I would be working on a new job with popular YouTuber Markiplier, I've never heard of him but I'm sure I'll recognise the face when I see him.

He texted me his address and told me to turn up whenever and that I don't have to dress formally because then he would be embarrassed because he will be lounging around in shorts and a t-shirt.

He seemed like a pretty chill guy who would be easy to work with, should be fun.

The next morning

Amy's pov

It was 10am and I had just woken up, I got dressed in a light pink hoodie, black slightly baggy jogging bottoms and white converse, nice and casual. I then made my bed ate some eggs on toast then brushed my teeth and left to go to the coffee shop.

I can never start a day without coffee and I thought as a nice friendly gesture I would get the people I'm working with coffee.

Mark said yesterday it would be him and 3 other people that I would be meeting so I bought 5 iced coffees because it was hot.

Once I left my local breakfast bar I hopped in my car and headed to where Mark's apartment was.

It was a short 10 minute drive which was quite convenient because if he needed me I could be over there really quick.

As soon as I arrived I was greeted by 4 happy smiling faces and 4 even happier faces when I gave them their coffee.

Mark let me in and we sat on the couch and talked about what I was needed for, he talked about all his plans and he talked about all the work and effort that we needed to put in.

He then wanted to ask me a few questions to get to know me better:

"So Amy, do you know who I am?" he asked.

"If your talking about YouTube I don't recognise the name" I replied.

He looked kinda shocked but shook it off and asked the next question.

"Where are you from?"

"Cincinnati, Ohio" I said.

"Same, but I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii" he replied kind of excitedly.

"What made you move to LA?" he asked.

"Probably the work because it's a lot better out here but also the people and the weather"

"Do you have any friends and family out here?" this was his last question.

"None of my family are out here and I moved here without any friends but I have made a few friends where I work but not many cause most of them are jerks" I said truthfully.

"fair enough" he replied.

For the rest of the day we watched Netflix and had random conversations about really strange things.

I do really like these guys, they are really down to earth and very friendly. I think I have made some new friends.

It was around 6pm which was usually my dinner time, I told everyone that I was going to head off but Mark invited me to stay for pizza. I hesitated but how could you say no to his puppy dog eyes, I finally gave in and he looked so happy which made me really happy on the inside.

We ordered pizza and when it came we decided to watch a horror movie which are my all time favourites but Tyler, Kathryn and Ethan didn't look too happy.

We watched it anyway and it was a lot scarier than I thought, Ethan was screaming like a little girl and Kathryn decided to leave the room because she was too scared to keep watching.

Me, Mark and Tyler continued watching but you could tell Tyler was struggling to watch. He ended up leaving half way through which left me and Mark.

We had finished our pizzas just in time for the part where a girl gets brutally murdered which I couldn't watch, I hid my face in the closest thing to me and when I looked up I found out it was Mark's shoulder. I could feel the colour rising to my cheeks but the room was dark so he couldn't see. He just laughed and thought nothing of it.

Once the movie finished I decided to leave, it was around 8pm so I had missed all of the LA traffic which was good. Mark arranged for me to meet at his place again tomorrow at 10am which I was kinda excited for.

I left the house with a smile on my face and that smile stayed until I fell asleep.
