"Let her go." My mind told me as she stood in front of me with tears falling. "You're killing her, let her out of your world." I nod, just to agree with myself. "Liam, I can't breathe, I need out." She pleads with me as the tears begin to fall from my eyes as well.
"If you love her you'll let her run." My mind was right, but my heart was breaking. "Please don't make me. " I cry to her, "Just let me go, if you love me you'll let me go." I close my eyes and sigh. "Fine, but one last thing." I stroke her cheek and smile, leaning in slowly. My lips reach hers, soft and sweet. I'm hurting her, it's time to let her go.
The kiss last for a moment, my lips stop moving and linger on hers, "I am in love with you, Alice Cadence. Good-bye." I kiss her cheek and slowly walk backwards, watching her light smile appear, "Thank you, Liam." I turn back around and walk away from the girl of my dreams. The one who should have been mine.
