THE NEXT MORNING

pov: melissa

i woke up, got ready, and got my stuff packed because my dad and i are heading home shortly after i hangout with bronny.

so i just got to this little coffee shop. it's cute and there's bronny sitting outside. i say bye to my dad and he drives off.

melissa: hey

bronny: hey its good to see u (giving melissa a hug)

melissa: yeah.. so 

bronny: so talk to me. tell me some more about yourself (smiling at melissa looking at her with love in his eyes)

melissa: ok let me think. um.. well you know i play soccer so i've been playing since i was young and i've played defense my whole life and i love defense but recently my coach put me at mid so.. i'm sorry that's boring you don't wanna hear about that

bronny: no no that's exactly what i wanna hear

melissa: well i don't know but mid is ok. i love defense though and i think i'm better at it

bronny: yeah well i should for sure come see you play sometime

melissa: all the way in missouri.. right

bronny: melissa stop. tell me about your past relationships

melissa: um ok. so i've had 2 boyfriends and i've talked to 1 boy. my first one was in 8th grade and we dated for like 3 months. he broke up with me and i think it took me about 5 months to get over him and move on so i talked to this boy for 2 weeks then he left me. after him, about 4 months later, i dated another boy and we dated 5 months i think but i broke up with him because it was a very toxic relationship. now tell me about yours

bronny: ok well i've never had a real girlfriend but i've talked to 2 girls

melissa: why didn't they work?

bronny: i didn't have the time to have a real relationship

melissa: ok so look before you start thinking this is gonna be anything.. i live in missouri first of all and i don't know enough about you. you are very cute and i love talking to you but i don't know if your just a player or what. i have trust issues so i like to take things slow

bronny: melissa, i like you. i actually do. i don't know how because i  don't usually like girls cause i'm focused on other things but i like you. i promise i'm not a player i told you i've only talked to 2 girls

melissa: i know but i need to know also that your not just gonna leave because you have no time for me or just leave because i live so far away bronny. so if you think that's gonna happen it's ok we can just be friends. if you think in the slightest that might happen please tell me right now

bronny: i promise you, that will not happen. we will make it work. i promise

melissa: stop your going too fast we're not anything yet. but.. if we were to date.. i know that your busy but you cannot just not text me. you have to tell me your busy okay? and then just text me when your done. you have to communicate everything with me and i'll do the same.

bronny: of course yeah i will. can we just say we're talking?

melissa: sure yeah we're talking

bronny: okay great cause i do like you

melissa: i know.. i like you too

bronny: do you wanna get out of here now? i'll show you around a little

melissa: that sounds good

well i guess we're talking now. it's pretty fast but i don't know i think it's good that we decided we are now since i am leaving today. i don't know when i'll see him again. it's the middle of may now so hopefully i'll see him a lot in june and july. 

i met his mom and she took us to a couple little places that bronny likes. we took some pictures so we can have them while we're not together. i posted a picture of him and me with our cheeks touching making kissy faces at the camera on my snap story. a little nervous on how that's gonna go lol people will be like "omg that's bronny". neither of us really wanna go full public especially since we're barely even talking. once, or if, we start dating we'll make it public but now just little things to keep people guessing.
