Portals And Decoys (WraithxMirage)

Chapter 2

After a lot of intense battles, Mirage and his team where down to the final two squads.

"Alright final squad no pressure, you got this." Said Mirage

"Are you talking to yourself?" Asked Wraith

"What? Pfft no no I must have been the wind... or the robot." Said Mirage

"Friends I have spotted the last squad." Inturupted Pathfinder

"Alright, Alright great... What do we do?" Said Mirage

But before any of them could answer Pathfinder made a Zipline and started riding it toward the enemy squad.

(I know some of you would think Pathfinder would be smarter, but I need to drive the plot forward sooooo sorry)

"Path No!" Shouted Wraith, but it was to late.

Pathfinder was shot out of the air by the enemy team.
Before Wraith and Mirage could think about their situation the enemy turned their fire towards them.

"Wait here Mirage I'll get us out of here!" Shouted Wraith

"Ok, ok, uhh what?" Asked Mirage, but Wraith was already gone.

Wraith had made a portal to a nearby building, and shortly after Mirage followed.

"Oh no, what are we gonna do?" Asked Mirage

"Calm down Mirage where gonna be fine." Said Wraith

Mirage looked into Wraith's eyes, something about them just calmed him down.

"Ok, we can still win this." he said

"Our building is in the final circle, so our best chance is to wait for them to come to us." Said Wraith

Some time later the enemy team walked into their building carefully.
They saw Mirage and they opened fire, but what they hit disappeared into a bunch of blue hexagons.

Wraith jumped out and unloaded her weapon on one of the opponents.
Mirage used his ultimate on the other two members of the enemy team and manage to knock one of them.
Wraith knocked her opponent, but she turned to see Mirage get downed by the last member of the squad.
She got behind the doorway and began shooting at the enemy before he could finish off Mirage.

After a moment of trading shots Wraith knew that they were both low.
Wraith decided that it was now or never so she charged at the final enemy.

But she was knocked by a blast from the enemy's peacekeeper.
She looked up at the enemy and waited for the final blow to come.

"No." She said under her breath

But then she heard the powering up of a havoc rifle from behind the enemy.

"Hey, ya missed me?" Said Mirage
And he killed the final member of the final team.

A voice rang out saying that Wraith and Mirage have won the game.

"Yes!!" Wraith cheered
She ran up to Mirage and hugged him, but immediately let go.
"Sorry." She said

"Oh uhh yeah, yeah it's ok." Said a flustered Mirage
"But, hey we won!"
