Chris walked to the boys locker room as I went to my Gym teacher, Mr. Johnson's office. I knocked on the door. "Hello..?" I asked. "Come in." He responded. I opened the door and walked towards his desk. "Are you our new student, Avery?" He asked. "Yes I am." I responded. "Welcome to East High! I'm your Gym teacher, Mr. Johnson." He said and he reached out to shake my hand. I shook his hand back, it was sweaty. Gross. I tried not to make it noticeable that i was disgusted so when he looked away I snatched his hand sanitizer bottle and used half of it on my hand. Oh well I don't want his sweat on my hands, that's for sure.

"So, let me guess, you didn't bring your gym clothes today, did you?" He asked. "Nope." I responded. "Well by tomorrow I expect you to start changing out our your grade will shift down by the end of the week." He said. "Alright." I casually said. He looked at my neck. "Them headphones need to be in your locker, including your phone, Avery. But since your new I wont confiscate it but if I see it out again I will and your mother will have to come pick it up at school." He said. "Ugh." I said under my breath as I got up. Here's your gym locker information. The girls locker room across from the boys next to the bleachers.

Bay 4 Locker 443.

Like I was ever going to use my locker. I never dress out.

I walked in the girls locker room. "What the.." I said. "How can girls be so musty?!" "Trust me, its possible." A girl behind me said. "Hi, I'm Tara. Welcome to East High!" She greeted me. "Hey Tara, I'm Avery. Thanks." I responded. "Oh MY GOD!" she yelled. "What?!" I said panicking. "YOU ARE SO PRETTY! ARE YOU THE GIRL THAT CHRIS IS DATING?!" She said in excitement.

I couldnt help but smile at the compliment. Then snap right back into reality when she mentioned the word "dating" and the name "Chris". "Thanks. And uh, no where did you get that from?" I asked. "Oh my God dont lie Avery! You too are so cute together I saw you guys at your locker and I'm in your homeroom." She said. "Oh um thanks i guess. But me and him are just best friends." I said nervously.

"Are you sure because last time I checked Best friends didn't flirt like that." She said. I looked at the ground. "Its nothing. Nice meeting you." I said. "Same! You better talk to me later cause I'll be at your locker. I need to chat with you cause i really want to be friends." She said smiling."Haha, I will you seem really cool and your pretty." I responded. "OMG! Really?! Thanks." She said flipping her hair laughing. "Haha, alright I'll see you later." "Bye Avery!" She said as I walked to my gym locker.

Wow. I didn't think people would be so nice. I was expecting everyone to be so fake and irritating that I would have probably left by now. Tara seems so sweet and preppy its adorable.
