"My mom there yet?" Bakugo sighed, running a hand through his hair as he eyed the window next to him.
"Not yet, be patient. I wonder if you're as stubborn in real life as you are on screen." You snorted, shaking your head as you plopped down on the couch. Bakugo flipped you off, rolling his eyes.
"And I wonder if you're as fucking annoying in real life as you are on screen."
You frowned, puffing out your cheeks as you crossed one leg over another. "Rude. Stubbornness isn't exactly a bad quality."
"I never said being annoying was, either."
Your cheeks flushed and you snorted, a small smile gracing your face. "Stupid. When I get there I'm gonna hug you, and you're gonna have to deal with it."
"Over my dead body."
"My way, my way or the highwa-"
"Shut the fuck up."
"No you. Anyways, you should be thankful that you're getting a hug from someone as epic as me." You hummed, flicking the camera. Bakugo rolled his eyes, smirking.
"Yeah, epic. For sure. Totally not a fucking loser."
"I'm gonna eat your ass, Katsuki, don't test me."
"Pussy."
You tossed your phone onto a couch cushion, punching the camera rapidly. You held your earbud mic up to your mouth.
"Bitch."
"Ow, you bitch, my fucking ears!" Bakugo yelled, yanking his earbuds out of his headphone jack. You burst out laughing, then heard a muffled car horn honk outside of your house. You hopped off of the couch, grinning down at your phone as Bakugo glared at you.
"I'll see you in a bit, I guess. You'd better be prepared for that hug."
"Fuck off."
You hung up, laughing slightly, then put your phone away, looking up to see a blonde-haired woman in a red truck. She grinned at you, waving.
"Hello! You're the same girl Katsuki was on the phone with before, right? I'm his mother, Mitsuki, nice to meet you!"
You smiled at her, silently hoping that you wouldn't butcher her name with your American accent.
"Hi! I'm Y/N L/N, it's nice to meet you too, Ms. Mitsuki!"
Mitsuki's grin widened as she gestured to the car door. "Well, hop on in, kiddo!"
You carefully opened the door to the backseat, hopping in and shutting it. Mitsuki took off almost immediately, leaving you little time to buckle yourself in.
"So, first off, welcome to Japan! Katsuki told me that you lived in America up until now?" She said, glancing at you through the rearview mirror. You nodded, a bit deflated at the mention of your old home. You already missed Dakota and your other few friends.
"Yeah, I lived in California. Uh, Los Angeles, actually."
"Aah, Los Angeles?" Mitsuki hummed, smiling. "Never heard of that place before, but it sounds nice! Was it a big city like Musutafu?"
"Um, yeah! It was really crowded, too. Other than that, I kinda liked it there."
"Oh, I see! Well, I think you're gonna like it here, Y/N, it's a great place to live in!"
You smiled softly at her, mind suddenly turning to Bakugo. "Yeah, I think so too."
Mitsuki stared at you for a second, before turning her attention back to the road.
"I want to thank you for being friends with my Kat. I think since he's met you, he's been changing a lot. In a good way. And..." She said, a large smile growing on her face. "...he might not seem like it, but he's been super excited for you to move here ever since he got the news."
Your face turned pink and you felt a large smile grow on your face. You stared down at the floor of the car, moving your feet a bit.
"I was pretty excited, too. He's a good friend."
"You're such a nice girl, Y/N, no wonder Katsuki's always smiling at his phone." Mitsuki cooed, eyes sparkling. You almost choked on air, eyes widening and face flushing to a deep red.
'Uh, pardon? Mc-fucking-scuse me? Pardonnez-moi? Nande? Qúe?'
Excitement coursed throughout your body. Bakugo smiled? Possibly when you texted him? A grin grew on your face. You could just imagine it now: Bakugo gets a text, he doesn't think anything of it, till bam. He realizes it's you. And then he smiles.
Just like you did whenever he texted you.
"Th-Thank you, Ms. Mitsuki. Um, has he...said anything about me?" You questioned, curiosity getting the best of you. Mitsuki chuckled, shaking her head.
"He never talks to me about his personal stuff. But Y/N, to be honest..." She parked the car in a large driveway, turning around to grin at you. "...if Katsuki were to date anyone in the future, I would hope that it would be you."
You blushed profusely, the tips of your ears and your cheeks burning.
"Thank y-you, again."
