Ch. 1
Jen's POV
John, Korey Seth and I were in a big house we all shared and we were sitting on the couch watching tv when John wrapped his arms around his wife Korey then kissed her on the lips then pulled away and smiled at her with his arms around her. A few minutes later I looked at Korey and she had fallen asleep in John's lap, so I tapped John on the shoulder then pointed at Korey, so he got up then walked into they're room and laid Korey on the bed, then came back out to the couch and sat down next to me. We continued watching the movie and went to bed two hours later.
John's POV
I walked back to mine and Korey's bedroom then I shut the door then changed into pajamas and laid beside Korey then fell asleep. The next morning I woke up but I didn't see Korey so I got up and walked out of our room to see Korey sleeping on the couch in a long sleeve pajama shirt, so I walked over to her, picked her up then carried her back into our room, as I was laying her on our bed I noticed something wrong with her wrists. I pulled up her sleeve and saw deep cuts on her wrist, so I pulled up her other sleeve and saw the same deep cuts on that wrist I yelled at her and Korey woke up and noticed that I had seen her cuts. Korey got out of bed and tried to go into the bathroom when I stopped her, then all of the sudden I got angry at her and smacked her so hard that she hit the floor then began crying, I didn't realize that both Seth and Jen were awake. I grabbed a handful of Korey's hair and pulled her to her feet then punched her in the face as I yelled at her for cutting herself and by this time both Seth and Jen came running in the room and Seth yelled at me to let go of Korey so I did, then I turned to look at Seth and saw that he was glaring at me so I just left our room and went into a spare bedroom then slammed the door shut behind me.
Seth's POV
All of the sudden Jen and I woke up to John yelling at Korey for something then Jen and I heard a thud and we ran to John and Korey's bedroom to the sight of John pulling Korey to her feet by her hair and that's when I yelled at John to let go of Korey, he did then turned around to say something but instead he just went into a spare bedroom and slammed the door shut. Jen knelt down by Korey then pulled her into a hug because she was scared and still crying, Jen carefully pulled up one of Korey's sleeves to see the cuts up and down Korey's wrist then I could hear Korey telling Jen that she was sorry. I looked and Korey was gone then I saw her coming out of the bathroom then she walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table while Jen and I decided to make pancakes for breakfast, we finished cooking breakfast and I went to get John and made him sit by me, while Jen sat down by Korey. I noticed John was glaring at Korey so I kicked him under the table, then he glared at me so I kicked him again and that's when he just looked down at his plate and ate his breakfast. I saw John get up with his plate so I watched him to make sure he was going straight to the sink and he did then he went back into the spare bedroom and slammed the door shut, scaring Korey so she ran into the living room and hid under the covers so Jen and I went into the living room and Jen pulled back the covers and we hugged her.
Korey's POV
I walked out of the bathroom and sat at the table while Seth and Jen made pancakes for breakfast, when they got done Seth went to get John and Seth made John sit by him while Jen sat by me. When I was almost finished with my breakfast John got up with his plate and I got scared but he didn't even look at me, he just put his plate in the sink then went to the spare bedroom slamming the door and it scared me so I ran and hid under the covers on the couch. A few minutes later Jen was pulling the covers off me and she pulled me into a hug. I just hugged Jen tight and Seth came and sat on the couch with us then he hugged me too.
Jen's POV
I sat down on the couch and hugged Korey as she trembled in my arms then Seth came over and sat down on the couch with us. A few minutes later the spare bedroom door opened and John walked out of the room and sat down on a chair in the living room with us and I could feel Korey tense up and it was then that I had realized that even though John was not sitting by Korey, she was terrified of John hitting her again. We watched a movie together and a few minutes later I looked and Korey had fallen asleep in my arms. I got up and carried Korey into her room then laid her down on her bed then I quietly walked out of the room and sat back down on the couch, Seth and I were into the movie when we heard Korey crying and pleading with John to stop hurting her. We jumped off the couch and ran towards they're room.
John's POV
I saw Jen carry Korey to our bedroom then come back and start watching the movie again, a few minutes later I snuck into our bedroom and shut the door behind me. I walked over to our bed and looked down at my wife sleeping peacefully then saw her wrists and got angry all over again. Then I remembered why I was so angry at her, she screwed up on Monster the other night and she thought she could get away with it by punishing herself, oh no I wasn't going to let that happen, I jumped on top of Korey and punched her hard in the face, she woke up as blood flew from her mouth, she looked at me with fear in her eyes as I punched her in the head over and over, then she cried out loudly. I was getting more pissed at her loud cries, I wanted her to shut up because I could hear Seth and Jen walking to the door and she wouldn't stop crying so I hit her already bleeding body harder and her cries turned into silent tears just as Seth burst in the door.
Seth's POV
I had just burst into John and Korey's bedroom to witness John beating Korey violently to the point of her body bleeding from everywhere. I grabbed John and literally yanked John off Korey and threw him on the ground told him not to move.
Seth: Don't you dare move or you will be sorry.
John just shook his head, he couldn't believe that I could handle him like that. I went over to Jen and helped her with Korey. I picked her up while Jen ran to my car and started it then came back and got a towel then helped wrapped Korey in a beach towel then we went out to my car and Jen drove to hospital. Once in the car Korey realized where we were going and begged us not to take her there.
Seth: We have to Korey, you might have a bad head injury.
After a few minutes of silence Korey whispered something to me then I saw tears form in Korey's eyes and I wiped her eyes as the tears fell
