Slowly I slid off my bed and onto the floor, I layed there for about thirty seconds until my door shot open and Chris (My older brother) walks in.
"What do you want?" I ask looking up at him.
"Mom wants you to feed Baby."
"It's your turn" I say getting up slowly.
"Well mom wants you to do it...so sorry"
"OK, get out so I can get dressed for doing you chores." He smirks and I shut the door before he can say anything. I walk over to my closet and rip the door open. I take the first cute shirt and slip it over my ultra skinny body then walk over to to my drawer and put on my light wash shorts. I just ended up putting my hair into a loose braid and put on my usual make up, small bit of eyeliner and mascara. I turn to look at my outfit in my full body mirror and scowl, dark pink tank and my shorts with white converse. I could totaly do better. I walk over to my door and slowly swing it open, no one was in the hall so I tip toed down the stairs.
" Joëi, are you going to join us for breakfast" My butler says behind me, causing me to jump. I think his name is Harold, which doesn't matter.
"Sorry sir I can't I have to feed Baby" I say in my I am not doing anything wrong voice.
" Baby, the cat? I fed her already." I look over to Chris who was sitting at the table. He gives me the kind of smirk that girls swoon over. I dash up to my room and slammed the door behind me. I walk over to my closet and open the sliding door. About five minutes later I look back over to the body mirror, now this is more like me. I changed my tank to a black polo tee and my shorts to pink skinny denim jeans...but I kept the converse. Before I walked out of my room I pull my hair out of the braid causing my brown locks to cascade down my back. I walk out of my room and down the stairs, I sneak into the kitchen and grab a cup of noodles and a gatoraid. I start over to the back door and walk outside. I slip into my jeep and put my key in the ignition, the engine roars to life and I steer out of my driveway.
I pull into the almost full lot and get out. Instantly my fans start to adore me, I look over to a red head shoving her way through the crowd. It was Olivia, the one and only friend I can tell anything to and she won't judge me. I say my thanks and meet up with Olivia.
"So tell me the gossip of Ceder High!" Olivia begins.
"Oh so Kyle and Bri -"
"I am sorry I just can't handle it" she says stopping me dead in sentence.
"Its fine" I answer giggling. We walk up to school and Andi joins us. I open the bay doors revealing the white crisp marble floor of our school. My friend Lexi was standing by the office. I look forward to the lunch room and Chloe and Zoe were both in sitting and flirting with cute high school boys. I enter the room and sit at the table..
"Ok boys stops swooning over them" I say as the boys turn to look at me. Zoe and Chloe giggle. I looked over to the blonde one, I think his name is Kyle and shoo him away. I look forward to the brunette one and he smiles a melting heart kind of smile.
"You both can leave" I say again shooing them away. The brunette one scoffs and they both walk away. The twins giggle and we all walk out of the cafeteria. Lexi looks over to us and follows. I say bye to Olivia and we all split up to our classes I sit at my normal desk and pull out my phone. After texting Lexi about Panda Express I look over to the black board and the teacher was writing his name in blue chalk. My phone buzzes and I look down to press the read button.
"So a little birdie told me that you and Ethan are a thing?" I heard a voice say above me. I'd recognize the voice from anywhere, It was the gossipy girl in the world. Ava scott.
"Let me guess, your the birdie?" I say looking up.
"I am not that desperate." She lies through her blinding white teeth. She would get gossip from the inside of a garbage can if she had to.
"You really would" I scoff
"Just answer the stupid question"
"Maybe." I answer turning back to the board. The teacher was a scrawny 20 year old with a bad over bite and thick rim glasses.
"Hello class, I am Mr. Johnson" The substitute says pointing to the black board and dragging his finger through the N and S of his name. I smirked as he slips on the water I may or may have not planted. The whole class giggles and high five me. I am what people consider as the class jokester, which is true but also it isn't, I only play pranks on the substitutes. Just my luck he looks up as Kyle high fives me.
"You-you-you-" He stutters
"T-t-today junior" I say causing the class to break into laughter.
"Office now!" He scolds
"Okay okay Mother" I answer grabbing my bag. The classroom roars louder.
"Thank you thank you I'll be here all week" I say exiting the class. I walk down the long hallway. I have been in this situation way to many times, but on the bright side the Vice Principal and I are tight. I open the door to her office and she greets me with smile. I sit on the small pink bean bag in the corner of the room and grab a root beer out of the mini fridge and relax.
"So... Joëi want are here for today" She asked typing on the keyboard.
"The substitute for Mr.Alec's class thought I put water on the floor by his desk"
"Well did you?"
"Not on purpose" I say taking a gulp of my soda. She giggles and calls the class.
"Yes hello, I am calling about Joëi, yes I sent her parents a report and suggested a month grounding, no thank you, its people like you that keeps our school the top of the ranks, okay bye now" I stifle a giggle as she hangs up. I hug her and exit, this is the time she let's me get panda express. I text Lexi to meet me at land and cross the parking lot.
