Lexi and I meet at the front door and we walk in. I glanced up towards the counter to see if my favorite cashier liam was working. Just my luck I stroll over to him Lexi following behind.
"What can I get you Jojo" Liam asked tapping my shoulder. I have known Liam almost my whole life,Jojo was one of the many perks of meeting him, outside it was really hot so Liam and I were playing in my pool. I always made fun of him by calling him Leelee, so one day he told me he would find the perfect nickname for me. So we were being normal 7 year olds playing in my pool and my mom walks out. She puts out a platter of French fries Jojo's and sweet potato fry. The only ones I would eat were the Jojo's so that is how it started...ANYWAY BACK TO THE FUTURE.
"I will take sweet & sour pork, noodles and three crab stars with root beer." I say
"So your usual?" He asks turning to Lexi
"And what can I get you?"
"I will have the same as her except a coke" She says smirking, knowing him so long is a blessing and a curse, with the dumb ass smirk on his face I know he is about to say something really stupid.
"No jojos with that" And am I right or am I right. I shake my head promptly and we walk to a table.
"So what is up with that nickname?" Lexi asks sitting on the red seat pillow. She pulls her Holiday red lip gloss out of her gold couch and applies a small layer. I explained the whole story to her and she giggled.
"All of them?" Lexi asked giggling
"All of what?"
"All of the fries?"
"Yes all of them!" I answer. She starts laughing and fell out of her seat causing me to laugh... At this point the whole restraunt was staring at us but we didn't care, I was having fun and so was Lexi and that's all that matters. Lexi got back up and we sat there being stared at and laughing. I look up and Liam was there staring down at us. I jumped and he put our food on the table.
"Thanks Leelee" I smirk. At this time I was pretty sure Lexi was going to pee herself she was laughing so hard. I start giggling when she snorted and I finally relaxed.
"Hurry up and eat your food" I say pushing her crab stars toward her. We ate in silence mostly until Lexi brought up the worst thing ever.
"So I heard that you and Ethan are a thing now." She says mid bite. When she said that I almost chocked on my pork.
"Where did you here that, Ava Scott?"
"Yes... Sorry I know you said don't talk to her but she had chocolate so." Lexi blabbed. Her addiction to chocolate is not heathy, if someone gives her chocolate she will love them forever. One time I left her alone for five minutes and she ended up finding my new box of chocolate and eating half of the thing.
"OK I understand, chocolate is more special then our friendship..." I say trying to be dramatic.
"I am so glad you understand." She giggles. My phone vibrates causing me to jump.
"Fergie says we have to be back in ten." I say putting my chopsticks in the to go box.
