Crossing my fingers that Wren wasn't intoxicated, I climbed into his car. It was intimidating. A sleek black Jeep that looks brand new. Jada had always wanted a jeep. Little did she know that Reid bought her one for her birthday. I can't forget, tomorrow at seven is her official dinner, that's when we will actually celebrate her 22nd birthday. My head is really spinning, too much to drink I think. Yeah, that's exactly what happened because I didn't hear Wren when he asked for directions to my house.
"Stella"
"What?" I shot my head to look at him, were we actually already driving?
"I don't know where you live" Wren chuckled. God his smile was so hot. And the way those lips curved perfectly. The things his lips could do.... Stop. I need to focus.
"Uhm, just make a right at this light and go down until the stop sign and make a left and you'll come to the development. I'll punch in the security code to get in then I'll give you more directions" I say too quickly for even me to understand.
"Security code? Damn do you live in the White House?" He smirked that smirk that could make me rip my clothes off. Finally, my head catches up to the 20 minutes that just happened, and I realize, I'm letting a stranger into my home. What the hell was I thinking!
"Listen, Wren, you should go. I'll walk" I finally muster the thought to form a coherent sentence.
"What? Did I do something?" Wren's attitude completely changes. For the half hour I've known him, he's never shown any form of nervousness. This was obviously unlike him and I didn't know how I felt.
"No it's just I finally realize that I don't know you at all and that I almost let you into my house" I instantly try to put up a wall, failing as I look into his dark grey eyes. They were clouded with something that I couldn't make out. Was it sadness? Whatever it was, it was gone as fast as it came to be replaced with anger.
"That wasn't a problem in the club" he harshly spits at him
"Wren I know but I wasn't thinking clearly. I don't feel comfortable having a complete stranger come into my home" I spit back just as harsh and even a little annoyed.
"Fine" Wren whispers too calmly. I sit there for a second, processing the twist of events that just occurred. I didn't want to leave. I wanted to take him back to my house and have my way with him, but I can't. It simply isn't safe, and it hurts that I know it's wrong. I sigh and go to open the car door when I hear the doors lock and I quickly turn my head and see Wren making a quite illegal U-Turn.
"What the hell are you doing!" I scream in a panic. I may be drunk but I'm not stupid. Is he going to rape and kill me? Is he crazy!
Wren chuckles, "You said you didn't want some stranger at your house, I never said I didn't either. I'm not letting someone like you slip out of my life that quickly" I was stunned. He wasn't going to hurt me. And I knew it. I sank back into my seat and just enjoyed the ride. This chapter sucks worse than a retarded whore I'm sorry
